What ever happen to the Happy Easter Parade??

The parade does not exist anymore. They stopped showing it 6 to 7 years ago, and yes I agree with you, easter is allot boring now without it being on TV to look forward to.

You can download the "Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail" theme off disborads.com.

(as a side note Disney doesn't even have the Easter section from Everyday is a Holiday anymore so all the magic kingdom does for easter is some decorations on Main Street and Mr. and Mrs. Cottontail).

A lack of attention to the calendar, and we were married on Sat. before Palm Sunday in 1990. Flew to WDW on Sunday for a week-long honeymoon, and were in prime spots on Main Street to see the parade live on Easter Sunday. Don't recall who the main hosts were, but the 'on street reporter' was this up-and-coming personality named Regis Philbin. Returned home that evening. I really miss the parade, not just 'cause I'm a DisneyJunkie, but it was a nice memory to relive each year.

I think they still have the Pre Parade before the DDCTP on Easter. It plays the here comes Peter Cottontail and everything. You have to be there on easter to see it. remember. I THINK. :king:

It's hard to believe that the ratings wouldn't have been fairly decent for the parade. I mean, what else is there to watch on Easter morning?
