What does everyone think of this new Dramatic Disney Movie?

Hey-
I forget the name of this new movie comming out, but its really dramatic...what do you all think of it? (the previews) Its not a cartoon...comments? (I personally don't like it)

Its got Alexis Bledel from Gilmore Girls in it, gawd she's so hot. I personally won't go see it but I do like the commercials for the great eye candy :lol:

i think it looks like a good "made for tv" movie.... not a theatre movie, but i could be wrong.. (there's a first time for everything!! :animwink: ) we will probably get it when it comes out on dvd...

She's got a weird voice.. everything else is pretty good though... ::mutes TV::

in one of the previews j.jackson takes off a motercycle helmet and looks like he's sittin on a bike...
the rest of the movie looks all 1800's-ish
i so confused

Trust me, if you know the story, make sure no one tells you what it's about. Go see the movie, and it will all make sense, in fact it's kind of cool Disney did that when i think about it. Yeah, but don't worry, it's supposed to be like that.

But if you go and see the movie w/out knowing what it's about, I'm sure you'll be surprised and have some fun.

My daughter read the book in novel study in school last year and said it was a great book, she's really looking forward to seeing it as a movie.

I've never read the book but early reviews for the movie have been VERY positive. They say that the movie follows the book almost to the "T" which is usually a good thing. From what I understand about the story (from the review), it sounds like it would be a lot better than the previews let on since they don't even begin to touch on what the movie is about. I agree that the previews make it look sort of lame.

Tru' 'dat! The first time I saw the preview (Before Country Bears), the first thing I though was, "Avonlea?" (HAHA Remember that show?) Reading the posts, though have made me want to see it!

I think that maybe they are trying not to give away the plot with the previews. Remember back when they never gave away the whole plot to movies in previews?
