What do you think will be some cool things we'll see in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End?

I think the fight between the two ships inside the whirlpool will be awesome!

I noticed in the latest Disney Adventures magazine, there is an advertisement for a new version of the roll playing trading card game made by a company called Wizkids. The new expansion pack coming out is called Pirates: At Ocean's Edge (coincidentally much like At World's End).

Now I don't know whether or not Disney has any involvement with these trading cards or not, but the previous pack they came out was called Pirates: Davy Jones' Curse, and it was on the money in terms of theme and had a Kraken game piece.

This new game pack features a Chinese "junk" ship, like the new Emperess ship that will be seen in the movie.

But it also has pieces called "Sea Monster" which is a giant shark, and "Titan" which is a giant crab. So I wonder if any of these will appear in the movie.

I was wondering what kind of attraction references we'll see.

Maybe they'll finally put the auction scene in, the burning of the town, a reference to the wife of Carlos the mayor, or even the two skeletons playing chess in WDW's line. :shrug:

I know one thing, though. This movie will be phenomenal !!! :D :sohappy:

I think the teamup of Beckett and Davy Jones will turn out awesome. Can you not wait to see Davey Jones's shipmates and the British Royal Navy in a neck to neck battle for the future of the pirate world against Japanese samuri pirates, Buddists pirate gods, the rest of the pirate lords, Barbossa, and last but not least Jack and his infamous crew?

Can you talk about crazy?

When you say Pirate gods, are you referring to the "Pirate Lords?" Otherwise I hadn't heard of that plot point yet.

Either way, it's going to be awesome! :D:sohappy: :cool:

I don't know what to expect, I don't want to think of anything that might happen that may be exciting, because if I do and it is not in the movie then I will be very upset. All that I know is that I will be the first in line to see it in Boston. All that I want is an ending that does not seem as much as a cliffhanger compared to the 2nd one. The movie ended and I was like wt__? I had to wait until Netflix had it to see the final scene again only to find out that it was the ending. Can't wait until May 25th!!!!!!

I thought the cliff hanger was cool. It left you wanting more. But I doubt that this movie will have such an ending like that.

I just saw the Movie Surfers special on Disney Channel.

Not that much, but it had a few quick humorous scenes with Jack Sparrow, as well as an interview with Johnny Depp.

Only one more month to go. :)

I like cliffhangers, but not ones that are that big. Something that is just big enough to make me want to see the next movie. Not something that makes me have to view the final scene several times to make sure that I was not completely missing something. It was like the 2 hour movie didn't have an ending.:brick:

I don't know how long this has been, but I just found out the rating for Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.

Not surprisingly, it's PG-13.

Also, does anyone remember the title "controversy" of whether or not there was going to be an apostrophe in the title in the world World's. What was that about? I guess we put this puppy to bed. :shrug: :)

Thanks for that link.

I'm so happy they're actually coming out with a video game for the platforms (i.e. Nintendo, Playstation, Xbox) and not just PSP or Nindento DS. :D:sohappy:
