What do you think Rivers of Light will include?

So I've been starting to wonder what Rivers of Light will seem to include..?? From what I've seen so far, it seems to be something similar to World of Color at California Adventure?

If that's the case, and judging from the poster that was just released.. I'm thinking it will be a video/song collage of animal-related Disney films..

So obviously, Dumbo... Pocahontas, Tarzan, Bambi, Brother Bear, The Jungle Book, A Bug's Life, The Lion King, and Zootopia scenes?

Kind of a stretch, but maybe Lady & the Tramp, The Aristocats, Robin Hood, and Brave...

At least, that is what I imagine what the show would include, Mostly musical numbers of projections on water effects. Anyone else agree? Or do you have a totally different idea what this show will may or may not be?

Yes
I doubt Disney even acknowledges The Fox and the Hound anymore, but I don't think Robin Hood is out of the question!

I was hoping it was something a bit different... as far as what is projected on the water screens anyway. Hopefully not a force feeding of Disney animal characters shoved down our throats or into our eyes, but more of a natural wildlife/ spirit of the wilderness type of flavor to it. We can see Disney characters on water screens over at DHS.

Then what exactly do you think it would be??

it's possible.. Much like how Chernabog has a presence in Fantasmic.. Which is a character hardly any normal person knew about even when the show first opened.

But I do agree that it's a stretch

Based on the concept art shown so far and the general approach animal kingdom takes I'm betting there won't be many if any Disney characters in the show at all.

As far as elements - fountains, water screens, projections, floating laterns are a given. I'm guess there might be some floating set pieces (say the lotus flower) or floating stages for the performers. It should be very different and cool. Probably like a more mellow, shorter version of fantasmic combined with world of color.

While I wouldn't rule out some appearances by animated Disney animal characters, I suspect that RoL is going to be mostly images of real like animals and flora. There's already been indications that Disneynature footage will be used.

I agree the whole mission statement of AK is conservation. Maybe its just me but I am really excited for this attraction. I maybe in the minority but I am a fan of "edutainment". This is another opportunity for Disney to advance their mission statement. I cant wait!

From the concept art we have seen of RoL, I think little, if any animated characters will be featured; however, I get a very Brother Bear-type vibe, and I'm not quite sure why (though it is one of my favorite Disney movies). I hope that RoL incorporates a statement of conservation, or even just an appreciation for real life animals rather than focusing upon animated animals.
