what cruise ship do you prefer

I reacently got back from a carnival cruise(like saturday) and i thought it was really tacky looking the one dining room they had was had these ogly purple roung lights sticking out of the walls to resemble grapes and the walls where made of plastic.And the teen group wasn't good. The ship was called the Carnival Mirical it left out of NY.

what cruise ship do u like better carnival , disney, or other

Having only done a Disney cruise, i'm kind of biased. I have heard way too many unfavorable stories from friends about Carnival. If had to choose another cruise line it would be Royal Carribean. I have heard very good things about them.

Did Carnival New Years 2003- loved it, except at that time of year- too many kids, not any adult only areas-until after 11:00pm. Doing Disney Magic Oct. 2004- YEA! I know there will be lots of kids & families, but love the idea of numerous adult only areas.

Guess I have to go with "Other." Never have been on a Disney cruise, but I have been on a ton of other cruise lines and Royal Caribbean is my favorite of them all. Good food, good entertainment, and good service. I've been on Carnival about 8-9 times and have never had a good time sailing with them.

Always have wanted to go on DCL though---but the parents think it'll be too "kiddie" and they say they've heard the food is horrible. I think the only reason is because there isn't a casino. :lol:

We've been on 7 Disney cruises and 1 Carnival cruise and there is no comparison. Disney beats Carnival hands down. We're cruising on Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas next year so at this time I can't really comment on the "other". I've heard alot of good things about them though.

I have been on Royal Caribbean and Carnival. Royal Carribbean beats Carnival hands down. Carnival customer NO-service really stinks. There is no comparison. I will never go on Carnival again.
