What can you tell me about April in Disney??

Thinking about going to Disney the last week of April. What can anyone tell me about crowds and weather? I received a pin code for a percentage off select resorts but we usually head to Disney in the fall with free dining. Would the resort discount be a good deal? We always stay at Pop but a change could be good. This trip it is my DH and my grandson age 7.

I'm going April 21-29. I'm hoping for lower crowds since Easter is the beginning of the month, hopefully spring break will be done with and Star Wars weekend doesn't start until May.

The last week should be pretty good. In 2012 I went down the 3rd week and was surprised at how many kids were there with families. It wound up being the Massachusetts spring break. Amazed at how many families from that state made the pilgrimage during the slower times. I believe their break this year is April 18-26 so you should miss it that too. I believe Massachusetts pretty well ends the Spring Break block of dates.

I like the weather in April better than September and you get flower and garden.
