I'm wondering what everybody thinks are the 10 best rides in Orlando are. Not based on thrill factor or how fun they are. I mean quality and how revolutionary they are and represent the best of Imagineering and Universal Creative. These are NOT personal top 10 picks. They should be based on the best overall experience. My list is.....

1. Harry Potter And The Forbidden Journey
2. The Amazing Adventures Of Spider-Man
3. Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror
4. Haunted Mansion
5. Revenge Of The Mummy
6. Splash Mountain
7. Flight Of Passage
8. Harry Potter And the Escape From Gringotts
9. Spaceship Earth
10. American Adventure

The order changes occasionally, but here we goooooo. (No, Peter Pan is not one of them, though Tink does up the anti for that ride). I am just going for quality and overall experience, tech means nothing if it isn't enjoyable.

1) ToT (Not even up for debate)
2) Splash Mountain (Never gets old, though it can get wet)
3) High in the Sky Dr. Suess (Just kidding, I do like it though, no laughing)
3) Revenge of the Mummy (It was a ride I didn't expect much of and it just delivered).
4) Expedition Everest (If only it was all running, than this ride would kill)
5) FoP (It is just an amazing experience)
6) HP and the Escape from Gringotts (I love the movies, and this was just cool)
7) Haunted Mansion (Its a legend that never dies, or it does die, I'm not sure)
8) One of the other 4D rides at Universal, they all feel the same just different images.
9) Mission Space - Orange (I love the G-Force that is felt)
10) The Pirates of the Caribbean (Low tech but still amazing)

I Never rode FJ, it was closed down for maintenance when we were there.

10 best? In no real order:
1. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
2. Splash Mountain
3. Expedition Everest
4. Toy Story Midway Mania
5. Haunted Mansion
6. Harry Potter and the Escape From Gringotts
7. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
8. The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman
9. Revenge of the Mummy
10. Manta

Note: I didn't include Flight of Passage. I am of the unpopular opinion that Flight of Passage will become dated sooner than any of us expected. That ride is 100% dependent of technology. The day that it becomes dated, the whole ride falls apart. It will be a great ride for years. I just don't think it's timeless whereas the other rides can survive (and some already HAVE survived) their technology going out of date to some degree.

Another unpopular (like REALLLY UNPOPULAR) opinion, Pirates of the Caribbean is not worthy of a top 10 spot of Orlando attractions. It's barely noteworthy. Anyone who's been to Disneyland knows why and ever since 1973, the attraction kept getting worse. They added in Jack Sparrow and while that was necessary and I would've welcomed it, with hindsight, EVERY animatronic is either Jack Sparrow or WON'T SHUT UP ABOUT JACK SPARROW. I think it really hurt the ride. And then, of course, the political correctness that the ride keeps adhering to bit by bit. Why don't they just add Jack and the Neverland Pirates and put the ride out of its misery? That or scrap and rebuild it to match Disneyland's version or Shanghai Disneyland's version.

I couldn't agree with you more. Pirates does not deserve to be on the list at all. That version of Pirates is by far the worst version in the world and they’ve just been making that ride worse and worse over the past few years. I also agree with you that Flight Of Passage will not age well and I personally find it very overrated. I only put it on the list because people are so impressed by it, and I think it’s a good ride but it’s just not as revolutionary as the others on the list, and I think it won’t age as well as the others!!

personally, I don't see what's the big deal about Haunted Mansion. It seems to me that nostalgia is what makes it so popular with many.

are you kidding? Haunted Mansion is so beloved because there are so many memorable characters, scenes, songs, and details. It’s literally one of only a handful of early-era Disney attractions that have stood the test of time. Every time I ride Haunted Mansion, I notice something new everytime. I don’t agree at all that people like it for nostalgia. Just my personal opinion though.

Splash
Haunted Mansion
Hulk (I love that coaster)
Midway Mania
People Mover
Frozen (*ducks for cover*)
Jurassic Park
Carousel of Progress
Main Street USA
World Showcase

The last two are for sure huge stretches, but they really are one a kind.

1. Flight of Passage - the best ride at WDW.
2. Hulk - the best coaster in Orlando, never been to Sea World and never will.
3. Expedition Everest - Possibly the best roller coaster in any Disney park, theming, the queue, its great!
4. Forbidden Journey - If I didn't get such motion sickness, it might be closer to the top.
5. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - A classic that will always be my favorite MK ride.
6. Splash Mountain - My wife and I just absolutely adore this attraction.
7. Kong: Skull Island - Was pleasantly surprised by this, the queue makes it another experience in its own!
8. Escape from Gringotts - I know its not everyone's fav, but I love the queue and the scenes, just wish it was a bit more roller coaster in some sections to increase the length of the ride.
9. Revenge of the Mummy - Great ride!
10. Transformers - I know many would put Spider-Man over Transformers, but its another ride that my wife and I just love, plus I have the nostalgia of Transformers from when I was younger.

HM:
Jurassic Park - if the dinos were not so worn out from the sun and age, then it'd easily crack my Top 10.
Pirates of the Caribbean - but I prefer the DL version so much more.
Haunted Mansion - as many have stated, it blends a lot of great elements together with a lot of nostalgia.

Flight of Passage in 2018 is fantastic. I'm just not certain Flight of Passage in 2030 is going to be worth it. As for Pirates, I'm always scratching my head when people say it's so great. Haunted Mansion is fantastic. The Pirates of the Caribbean at Walt Disney World though is completely skippable in my opinion. At Disneyland though, it's the ride where I say "Do it. Even if it's the only ride you do." In Disney World, every scene has either been touched by political correctness (the redhead scene was the executed in the worst way possible) or has an animatronic talking about Jack Sparrow. ("It's Jack Sparrow were after!" "Tell us where Jack Sparrow is or you'll swim with Davy Jones" "Jack Sparrow will never find the treasure and I've got the key right here!")

1. Forbidden Journey
2. Spiderman

Big gap after those two ...

3. Big Thunder Mountain

5. Alien Encounter (can a former attraction count?)
6. Haunted Mansion
7. Revenge of the Mummy
8. Escape from Gringott's
9. Expedition Everest
10. Popeye & Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges (I think I may be the only person who loves this ride. I have done it alone in a raft in 60 degree weather).
