What am I missing? Suggestions?

Greetings and Happy New Year from frozen Pittsburgh!

We are headed to Orlando the end of the month. I have had a lot of help from the threads and questions I have asked, but now wonder if I am missing anything REALLY important. We are a group of three adults and three children (9,6,2). We have the Disney Dining Plan. I receive complements about how well behaved my children are, but also understand the days will be long so I left off several places I would like to try to make sure I am not asking too much of them. Or disturb other diners for that matter! This is my family friendly list. What did I miss? Any other suggestions?

Hoop de do review, Biergarten, Coral Reef, Whispering Canyon, Akershus, 50's Primetime Cafe, O'Hana, Be Our Guest, Boma. Have reservations for all listed.

QS plans were Sunshine seasons, Tangerine, Yorkshire, Cosmic Ray's, Yak&Yeti, Starring Rolls, Casey's.

Not to miss cronut in Epcot along with school bread and a dole whip. Anything else snack wise?

Thanks again for all the fantastic help. I have learned so much.

When I took my grandparents in 91 I thought we went to a Chef Mickey's but it isn't in the same place if that makes sense? Did it move? What do you like about it?

Honestly, I think your plans sound absolutely terrific, with a great variety of types of meals (e.g., buffet vs. non-buffet, all-you-care-to-enjoy vs. a-la-carte, character vs. non-character), as well as a great variety of different cuisines. Many of my family's favorites are on your list.

I wouldn't change a thing -- except to recommend, as a snack, an jalapeno-cheese stuffed pretzel (available at the Hans & Block kiosk near the American Adventure Pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase), if you're in the mood.

You mentioned you were on the DDP and I see one or two "2-credit" table service restaurants on the list (and more table service, or "TS" restaurants, than counter service, or "CS"). If this means you're paying for any of your TS meals out-of-pocket, make sure to research ahead of time which TS restaurants are going to be the cheapest (keeping in mind that in order to be "worth" using 2 credits, a 2-credit restaurant should cost at least double what the average 1-credit restaurant costs) , so you can get the biggest "bang for your buck" out of your dining credits.

It's in the Contemporary...to me it's just iconic Disney...I feel like it's a must do at least once. We skipped it the last 10 yrs because my daughter is now almost 15...but went in Sept of 2013 because my husband has little kids...it was a CIRCUS....but the kids loved it! It's loud and crazy and the food is decent....if you have kids 10 and under they will love it!

Chef Mickey's used to be in the Marketplace area of Downtown Disney. So you aren't crazy, it has moved

I am assuming some of your table service meals are for breakfast?

The only recommendations I would add is:

Flame Tree BBQ in AK for counter service (Don't forget to get a side of onion rings)
Columbia Harbor House in MK for counter service.

I also second the Jalapeno cheese stuffed pretzel. They are good!

Actually none of our reservations are for breakfast. Lunch or dinner reservations. Taking some of the advice from here, I was going to start out as early as we can with a breakfast bar or something quick on the go. Napping them in the afternoon, if possible. Am I missing something by not making breakfast plans?

I agree 100% in not wasting time and money on table service breakfast. I just noticed that you had 9 TS ressies listed.

If you are DTD give Wolfgang Puck Express a try for a counter service meal. Good food fast.

Just finished a 12 day trip with two kids (11 and 5) in the group. Your choices for table service are all ones that I've done before with the kids and had good success with. The only one on your list we did on the recent trip was BoG. Food is great, service is great, and they move you through pretty quickly (although not rushed), which is good for the kids.

Other TS we had good success with on the recent trip include Crystal Palace (Pooh characters), Hollywood and Vine (Disney Junior characters), Teppan Edo (cooking at the table), and Yak n Yeti (no particular reason, really, just good good and service).

As for QS, your choices look OK to me. Katsura in Japan and the ABC Commissary are two others we like.
