What’s happening with September’s Entertainment?

Septembers hours are out and the entertainment sections are messed up…. according to the new schedule (lets hope it’s just a big mistake) there is no Fantasmic, no Share A Dream Come True, no Spectromagic, no Jammin Jungle Parade or Illuminations……is this just an error? I think so…

You're right. It has to be some kind of error. Click on Events and Entertainment for Sept. 8th and it says the fireworks will go off twice, once at 8:15pm and again at 8:15pm! :brick:

Wow it looks like they're really cutting back! :animwink: I think that they're in the process of making up the schedule still, that no way looks final.

Could it be that Fantasmic and Share a Dream are going down for rehab? Other threads have mentioned this as a possibility earlier this year.

Fantasy in the sky is normally not performed on week nights with early closes anyway (Tues, Wed, THurs, and sometimes Sun).

As for Illuminations, well GE isn't the sponsor anymore. Will it also be in rehab? Could it be ending? Is there a replacement show on the way? This show is basically going on 4 years old maybe its time for a change or update?

September is one of the slower months at Disney. This is especially true since fall was very popular with the British as well as other international travelers who aren't coming to the US as much right now. Rehabbing some of these shows at this time might actually be something that is still being decided on.

I'd also like to know the situation for September. I will be there for 12 days this year and am hoping that there are E-ride nights along with the other special happenings.

they're making the schedules closer to the actual times... there should be entertainment, they just haven't announced it yet. Plus, we all know how out of date the Disney websites usually are (Even after an update)

anyhoo, here's what I've been able to get from my sources within Disney-


Spectromagic: September 13, 20, 27 -- 8pm

Fantasy in the Sky: September 4 -- 8:30pm
September 8, 15 -- 8:15pm
September 13, 20, 27 -- 9pm
September 22 -- 8pm
September 29 -- 7:45pm

Illuminations: September 1-30 -- 9pm

Disney Stars and Motor Cars: September 1-13 -- 5pm
September 14-30 -- 4:30pm

Fantasmic!: September 1-13 -- 8:30pm
September 14-30 --8pm

Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade: September 1-30 -- 4pm
