I have a constant "Disney Fever." But, my family definitely ebbs and flows with it's "longing for Disney." This morning made me smile, but also made my heart ache a little because it's just one of those days when all my family wants to do is go to Disney
This morning my DD8 woke up and said "Mom, when are we going to Disney?" To which I responded by pulling out my countdown on my iPhone (101 days). Although I tried to make her feel better by saying we were almost into double digits, she still huffed disappointingly, and shuffled over to TV. But instead of turning on the usual Spongebob, she turned on the Disney planning DVD to watch while she ate breakfast!
My DS4 then came downstairs and sat on the couch fixated on the Disney DVD; recounting every part of our last trip and what he can't wait to do this next trip (and then he asked how many "sleeps" until Disney mom?).
Then my DH came down (slept in late today from watching the eclipse last night ), made his cup of coffee in his Mickey mug, and sat right next to my DS to watch the DVD.
One by one, each of them got dressed for the day, and as we were walking out the door, I noticed that my DD had her Mickey barrette and bracelet on, my DS had his Mickey POTC shirt on (my DH dressed him), and my DH had his Mickey socks on!
Ever have one of those days?
