Sad that such a great park is going, but it's had its time. Excellent news that it's not going until the end of next year though - plenty of time for people to make one last visit to say goodbye. Such a change from Disney who announce attractions will close barely a few weeks before they do.

Very interested to see what Universal does with that land now.

I know that it has been said that some of the newer rides are moveable - does any one have a list of the rides that are moveable, and is there a chance that they could be moving over to Volcano Bay?

I have heard that none of the slides will be moved, but some of the newer pumps and filtration system will be reused in the new park.

That's just stupid.
With awesome slides like Disco H2O and Brain Wash, I don't get why they wouldn't relocate and retheme those. That's a few million saved right there if they kept them, not to mention an increase in rides to help disperse the crowds that are guaranteed to come to this park.

Given most slides at WnW are very lightly themed and at Volcano Bay it looks like they are going for heavily themed stuff like the Disney waterparks, it may work out more econonical to make new themed slides for volcano bay and just sell off what is at WetnWild.
