Well just a few days to go and I have a question my friends

we fly on Wednesday and I cannot wait. I'm in that 'floating on air' zone right now where it keeps hitting me that in a few days time we'll be in Orlando and everything feels just great. Getting some new trainers tomorrow to impress the ladies on the flight over (I tell Mrs M it's for comfort reasons though) but apart from that we're good to go

After boring you with that, here's my question. We usually get our AP's from the customer service place at Disney Marketplace but I'm wondering if it's still there with the development going on in that area? Also if it's not, can we get AP's from the ticket booths at the Studios instead and if we can, do we get a refund on the parking for that day?

Yep guest relations is still open at DTD. You can also get them at the parks, but will likely have to pay parking.

Great, thanks for that. We much prefer to get them from DTD as it's usually less crowded and we can have a drink there before heading into the parks themselves. Thursday morning we'll be there purchasing them and the holiday can start, once again thanks for answering

Sorry to be a pain, but does anyone know the car parking situation at DTD at the moment. We usually park in the area round the Disney Store in the marketplace but I'm aware there was or still is building going on?

There are parking lots that are closing. I can't visualize right now if the lot in front of world of Disney is one that is closed but it may be. I believe right now the majority of the parking is closer to west side, by cirque du soleil and disney quest. You can get ur tickets there. They have also been parking people at animal kingdom and bussing people in from 3-11pm.

They're parking people going to DTD in the Animal Kingdom car park and bussing them in!!!! Seriously?

It's still there. Last time I went was far and away the worst experience I've had at any Disney guest relations counter. I don't know if they're really bad all the time now or if it was a freak occurrence, but thought I'd give you a heads up.

I parked down by Cirque and had no problem. I usually park down there because looking for a spot elsewhere takes so much time I might as well have parked by Cirque and walked. But I don't mind the walk.

Some sections of the parking lot are closed off to make way for the new parking garage.

I was not directed t the AK. I know they're supposed to run a bus from AK to DTD. Read that here. Don't know if it's up and running yet. But you aren't required to park at AK, lol.

Sorry, final question. What time does Guest Relations open at DTD? Hopefully we'll be up early enough to get a Sizzler buffet breakfast in first, but knowing the time would help matters.
