Welcome to Disney World signs

We drive to WDW every trip and the one time I've felt cheated upon entry was when we didn't pass under the Walt Disney World sign because of the way our GPS took us to WL. I've just mapquested the drive from my parents' house to WDW and it has us coming in via 429, the Beltway, to Western Way to Coronado Springs. I have no clue of knowing if my car's nav system will take us the same way, but I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is a welcome sign on Western Way.

Is it bad that I'd rather take a few minutes more to get there in order to pass under a welcome sign?

We travel that way all the time. After you exit 429, the welcome sign is right ahead of you!

Yes it has a sign, and no I don't think its strange that you want to pass under a sign. I always enjoying coming under one of the welcome signs, even if I'm heading to the store to get something we ran out of, or forgot. Last December our GPS took us so that we came in one of the back ways, it was late at night and I was just wanting to get to the room, but we did run to the store the next day (twice) so I got my welcome that way.

No... nothing is wrong with your thinking. I'm always excited as soon as we pull out of our driveway to begin our trip south, and the Disney excitement builds every mile we get closer. But when we reach that Welcome to Disney sign its like a switch comes on inside me and I get a burst of adrenaline, knowing I've made it and its all fun and leisure from then on. That sign sparks the fuse afire of Disney within me.
