Last night a friend of mine was drinking Guinness with a topping of fresh orange juice.I had to try it as it looked weird, but it tasted awesome. He also recommended Guinness with a black currant topping..This got me thinking about weird concoctions of drinks at WDW.I thought the blood orange margarita at La Cava sounded strange until I tried it.So have you had a weird drink combo at the world..?;)

Cucumber and avocado margaritas were a little weird to me, but after trying them they were great. The jalapeño margarita I have had before at other Mexican restaurants, but it was very good and one of my favorites at la cava.
Agree..I had the jalapeño one as well..Unusal but very nice..;)

As in another post I will defer to my DW. She had this drink in the China pavillion of the world showcase which was made of cold tea, cold coffee, bourbon and chocolate. She said it was great and offered a taste to me. I tried it, said "yum" to be polite and went back to sipping my beer.

Do they serve michelada's at the Mexico pavilion? If so, that has always been a bizarre combo to me when I've seen places make it with beer and Clamato juice.

The Ultimate in strange mixed drinks is the Welch Dragon from Rose and Crown! Fruit juice and mint are a weird combination but a very tasty one at that.

A couple of the adult beverages offered at China's Joy of Tea sounded a bit strange at first but once I tried them I found that I really enjoyed a few of them.

On my next trip it is my goal to try some of the new drinks added to the menus at DAK hopefully some of them are good, if not then I am sticking with the Dawa Bar and Upcountry for my beverage needs.

Anyone know of anywhere in WDW where they do a pint of a IPA beer with an espresso shot poured into it? Local joint does it here in MN and its amazing. This coming from a person who isn't a huge coffee drinker.
