Weird cake of the day question

So we are out at dinner and the topic of cake of the day came up. Does anybody know what time the cake switches over

I asked our room-service service and our Mousekeeper at the end of our trip in November and neither of them knew.

I'm curious to know if there is ever an answer. We knew about it but never actually called room service about it. Too full with all of the other goodies i guess.

I have no official source to confirm this, but I've always heard that it's just whatever the kitchen last made, meaning it can change at any time and multiple times throughout the day.
