Signs is following Goldmember's performance dropoff with frightening accuracy. That is not to downplay Signs's success, but that is pretty interesting.

But wouldn't you expect the dropoff for any movie given the time of the year? Too bad SIGNS wasn't released earlier in the summer than it was. Great movie!

Signs won't have the drop offs like Austin Powers in Goldmember. Signs only dropped 38% in its second weekend compared to Goldmember which dropped 60% in its second weekend at the box office.
