Week before Memorial Day, how crowded is it?

Hi everyone. I'm a long time lurker-first time posting and just wanted to introduce myself. However I do have a legitimate question.
I'll be going down to WDW May 18-25:sohappy: right before Memorial day weekend. I know Memorial day is quite crowded we'll be leaving for home on Sat., which I'm sure will be a very busy day. but what about the rest of the week Mon.-Thurs.
Is it very crowded compared to other times of the year. I've beenin May before-before Mothers day and found the crowds quite manageable. I'm not too worried (any time in WDW is best for me) I'd just like to know what to expect. Thanks.

Wow, I'm going down the exact same time you are. I'm not exactly sure but I have heard that it is very crowded...but not like spring break or christmas time where it can be unmanagable...I hope that helps ?

I'm going during the same time. I went there this same week for my honeymoon in '98, and the crowds weren't back at all. The longest wait i had was 45 minutes for splash mountain. I'm hoping they stay the way they were in '98.
