Week After Thanksgiving?

Im planning on taking a trip the week after Thanksgiving this year when the rates return to "value" season. My work is closed on Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving and we are off the following Friday due to having a "9/80" work week; we work nine hours a day and get every other Friday off. So I can use 36 hours of vacation and get 11 days off work! How busy are the parks that week? We are planning to stay at the Wilderness Lodge if we can get a good AP rate or if not at POFQ. Anyone have any experiences with this time of year?

Week after Thanksgiving is usually a good week to go... Not sure what date you are planning to arrive, but the weekend of Thanksgiving could be a little crowded, but from that Monday until the week before Christmas, the crowds are low. The first week of December is when we will be there :sohappy:
