Can anyone suggest the best place to have a Wedding Meal after the ceremony. As I only have a small group (4 people) we are not having a lavish reception, so we are going for a meal, and wanted some suggestions, can you help, thanx :sohappy:

My suggestion would be Artist Point. Beautiful view, beautiful resort and yummy food. Another fantastic choice would be the California Grill, timed so that you can watch the fireworks during your meal... That would be a truly magical way to cap off your wedding day!! (I just can't vouch for their food - I've never eaten there!)

Not sure what your dining preferences are, but I'd probably have the most fun at a casual place like O'HANA in the Polynesian Resort.

It's served family style, so you don't have to worry about going to the buffet table, and it's a calming, relaxing, fun place to dine with friends and family.

As a bonus, you are on the monorail liine so you can get some great pics at the Poly after dinner, then head over to take some at the Grand Floridian, and Contemporary, without much effort or confusion for you and your guests! If you time it rightm you could even catch the MK fireworks from your dining table or out on the Poly beach!

ENJOY!....and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Hi Jayd,

We are having our rehearsal dinner at Ohana because the food rocks, it's got a great view for those who haven't yet been to Disney, and it's fun. If you want a fancier venue - Narcoosee's is on the water outside of MK and I think that is romantic :)

California Grill has a fantastic view and the food is excellent there. Narcoose's while I think the food is very good and view great, it can be a bit loud there. I haven't been to Cirtrocos in the GF, but that is a bit more upscale and you can ask for a table with a view and I think you might be able to see the fireworks from there, but not sure, if someone knows for sure jump in here.

There are a couple of tables in Citrico's from which you can see a lot of the fireworks. The view is a bit obstructed and since there aren't many of these tables, I suspect they'd be difficult to get. If seeing the fireworks is important, California Grill, of course is the best. The balcony/porch at Narcoossee's is also nice and even better for the Water Pageant. Narcoossee's is every bit as expensive as California Grill but the food is not nearly as good in my view. We really like Citrico's.
