Sorry if this is in the wrong section; I wasn't sure where to put it.
I don't know if any of you have ever logged onto the excellent website DVDtoons.com. This wonderful resource on classic animated shows, films, and Walt Disney Treasures that have been released onto DVD (with full, detailed reviews on EVERY offering) is about to be retooled by the site's administrator.
Instead of having critiques/news on new DVDs, the site will now be remade into an "opinions" blog-like forum, not an informative, information-rich tool for animation/Disney fanatics. Supposadly this is because the website in its current state creates "competition". But this is ridiculous since turning it into just another glorified forum (not that there is anything wrong with forums) completely defeats the purpose of the site!
(to say nothing of the excellent archives, which will probably be terminated as well.)
Please let people know about this very unfortunate turn of events which short-changes every Disney/animation fan!
