Weather - End Feb / March?

Hi there,

We were thinking of booking May or October 2015, but somebody told me it's a bit cheaper if you book for end of Feb / early March. Just wondered what the weather is like then as I've heard mixed things. We don't need it to be scorching but it would be nice to be able to wear t-shirt & shorts & sit out in the evening.

Any thoughts?

Have recently been both in February and in March. This past February we wore jeans and t-shirts during the day and added layers (sweatshirts) at night. Not cold, but not pool weather either. Daytime highs were in the 60s.

March can fluctuate. Sometimes shorts and t-shirts during the day are ok, but layers are still needed at night.

If you want mild but warmer weather, May and October are perfect!!

We went on the last day of Feb 2013 and it was too chilly for me. It was warm enough for short sleeves 1-2 days, but we ended up in jeans and hoodies most days.

One evening, I swear it was in the 40's. I still shiver when I remember that long cold wait for our ADR at BOG.

Um...next trip is booked for the first week of May

A little off topic but we went in early January one year and it never got above 60F the whole week. It actually snowed one day. We'd avoid winter but mostly because of our one bad weather trip. (We still had fun!)

According to the weather charts, the average high temperature for the end of Feb. and the beginning of March in Orlando is 76 F. The average low is 54 F. Of course, these are averages so it can be warmer or cooler on any given day or evening. It probably would not make it higher than the upper seventies during the day and lower than the upper forties during the night. There is little rainfall at this time of the year and the humidity is low.

Depending on how warm or cold you tend to be, the above temps. should give you an idea of what clothing you would like to bring.
