I just wanted to know how has the weather been down there in WDW as of late, and will it probably be the same next week? Also what have the crowds been like?

My dad and I are suppose to be there next week, and he keeps telling me its cold there, colder than it is here, so Im just curious about that. Also the crowds, Im assuming that they are light(maybe moreso hoping they are) since it is suppose to be an off time. Any help will be much appreciated.

Disneyworld.com always has the spot on the side with the current weather, or just go to weather.com and put in Orlando.

Weather was decent. Its all relative. The locals are probably cold, but we got home yesterday back to Chicago and single digits. Orlando was 60's, but drizzly, no sun for the past 3 days we were there.

As far as the crowds, wow! It must be because of the long weekends some schools had, but both the Magic Kingdom and Epcot were pretty crowded yesterday. Buzz Lightyear 40 min wait, Space Mountain 60+ min, Soarin the usual 60+ min, Pirates 30 min, Haunted Mansion 30-40 min. I usually go this time of year, to avoid all crowds, and I was surprised at how crowded it was.

We always go this time of year because of Mardi Gras if it falls before Pres day crowds are lite and the only people you encounter are folks from La Ms Tx that are out of school for the holiday the weather will nice for you it about what you have in Tx not quite as cold as right now.

just got back today. as another poster said, MK and Epcot were quite busy yesterday (Friday 1/18). i chalked it all up to the MLK holiday on Monday, as well as it seemed some cheerleading groups and other teams being there.

However, even though last weekend was Marathon, Sunday through Thursday were absolutely fantastic as far as crowd levels. We never waited longer than 20 minutes for ANYTHING!! Walked on most everything!

It's supposed to be chilly tomorrow (Sunday) but looking at our local 5 day forecast, it looks like we'll be relaxing in the mid 70's most of this weekend and next weekend with little chance of rain.

Now, I'm not a weather guesser, so please remember that mother nature can change at anytime!

As for the crowds, this past week wasn't bad, Friday the weekend people started coming in. Major things going on at WWOS with soccer, cheerleading, and baseball/softball, so lots of people with them were enjoying the parks early.

I'd bet that some Tuesday, it won't be too bad.
