We Need God In America Again

George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Samuel Adams, First Chief Justice John Jay. Names synonymous with the spirit of our country. Founding Fathers of the U.S.A. Over 200 years ago they shook off the chains of tyranny from Great Britain by divine call Citing 27 biblical violations they wrote the Declaration of Independence, "...With liberty and justice for all..."

But something happened since Jefferson called the Bible the cornerstone for American liberty, then put it in our schools as a light Or since 'Give me liberty or give me death' Patrick Henry said, "our country was founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ" We eliminated God from the equation of American life, thus eliminating the reason this nation first began .
From beyond the grave I hear the voices of our Founding Fathers plead, "You need God in America again"

Of the 55 men who formed the Constitution, 52 were active members of their church Founding Fathers like Noah Webster who wrote the first dictionary could literally quote the Bible chapter and verse. James Madison said, 'We've staked our future on our ability to follow the Ten Commandments with all our heart"

These men believed you couldn't even call yourself an American if you subvert the Word of God. In his farewell address, Washington said, "You can't have national morality apart from religious principle," and it's true, 'cause right now we have nearly 150,000 kids carrying guns to these war zones we call public schools. In the '40s and '50s student problems were chewing gum and talking, in the '90s, rape and murder are the trend.
The only way this nation can even hope to list this decade is to put God in America again.

The only hope for America is Jesus,
The only hope for our country is Him.
if we repent of our ways, stand firm and say
We need God in America again

Abe Lincoln said, 'The philosophy of the schoolroom in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next" So when you eliminate the Word of God from the classroom and politics you eliminate the nation that Word protects.

America is now number one in teen pregnancy and violent crime, number one in illiteracy, drug use and divorce .

Every day a new holocaust of 5,000 unborn die while ography floods our streets like open sewers. America's dead and dying hand is on the threshold of the church, while the spirit of Sodom and Gomorrah vex us all.

When it gets to the point that people would rather come out of the closet than clean it, it's the sign that the judgment of God is gonna fall.

If there's ever been a time to rise up church it's now, and as the blood bought saints of the living God proclaim .

that it's time to sound the alarm from the Church house to the White House and say, "We want God in America again!!"

We need God in America, God in America again...

I believe it's time for America to stand up and proclaim that one nation under God is our demand!! and send this evil lifestyle back to Satan where it came from and let the Word of God revive our dying land.

For Jesus Christ is comin' back again in all his glory, and every eye shall see him on that day That's why a new anointing of God's power is comin' on us to boldly tell the world you must be saved

Because astrology won't save ya, your horiscope won't save ya, the Bible says these things are all a farce If you're born again you don't need to look to the stars for your answers cause you can look to the very one who made those stars!!

History tells us time and time again to live like there's no God makes you a fool. If you want to see kids live right stop handing out condoms and start handing out the word of God in schools!

The only hope for America is Jesus,
The only hope for our country is Him
if we repent of our ways, stand firm and say
We need God in America again

God Bless.

I agree that we all need God in our lives, but haven't half the problems in the world today been caused by people hiding behind THEIR God, I'm not looking for an argument I'm a regular church attender and have a very strong faith, but I can never understand how on a daily basis people are killed and mamed in the name of religion.:(

We should all be Human's first, our nationality and religion is irrelevant.:( :( :(

I read this post this morning and my first instinct was to ignore it. However, as the day went on I knew I needed to respond. As a gay male and a committed Christian, I take great offense to the comments made. These sentiments were echoed by the "Revs." Falwell and Robertson and have angered even Rush Limbaugh. I am just livid that anyone would take this national tragedy -- a time when we have seen all Americans, regardless of religion, race or sexual orientation come together to pray, donate and work for the common good. I hope that the rest of the members of this forum read this thread and truly reflect on what has happened, and where you want America to go.

But wasn't this very country that we are so proud of created by these men who where escaping religious persecution? I don't want to get in a debate here on this subject because it could become very messy. I have no problem with having God in America, He is everywhere...even on our currency, but I don't want religion shoved down my throat. Prayer is for Church, learning is for school. Church is for teaching religion. School is for teaching History. And that history tells us that we need to keep Church and State separate. Maybe instead of trying to get prayer into school we should try and get patriotism into school. Prayer already has a house while Patriotism has been left homeless for much too long.

I didn't mean to offend anyone or start arguments about religion or anything,

A Friend of mine gave me this comments I posted and told me to download Carman: America Again.

I just thought that everything it says has a truth behind it and I thought it would bring a positive perspective to ppl if they read it because it did to me... Most of it made sense to me...
But obviously everyone has different opinion and I respect that and I'm not against that, the purpose for this post was led in a positive way.
My apologies if anyone was offended...

That's right, but remember not everyone believes on the same God and On the same Religion. While some people thing something is good someone else might think it's bad...But your right.:)

I apologies again for anyone offended...

God bless everyone...

No offense taken Mike. I think most of us here are grownup enough to have a civil conversation and state each others views. :)

Your absolutely right....

BUT I've graduated from a Christian high school in which sometimes I was in situation so tight that if I didn't have God there in that school preached to me I would had a tuff tuff time. But then Again, that's just my opinion... Also you need to understand that not everyone in a school knows who God is nor they go to a Church. So they don't have a chance to know who God is...school would be a chance to show some ppl another way out, when they think that they are stuck and have no where to go... Maybe reducing suicides, drugs etc. but then again this bring another set of problems. But they should have a choice, Listen to what they have to say about God or don't listen to it.
It's a free country...
I just don't think that politics and the Government can ignore God that much when there is a Phrase that says "In God We Trust" on the back of every American dollar.

Good point. But I don't think it's the Government who should decide whether religion is right for everyone.

Sure, but that doesn't necessarily have to be religion. It could mean teen help lines, family councilors, etc.

Freedom of Religion is one of the Bill of Rights. That's why school is not the right place for worship. There are so many different faiths you can't possible cater to all of them.

And I don't think they have. It just does not belong in public schools. Private schools, fine, then at least you have a choice and that's what this country is all about.
