We are now family

This was always a close group here. But I think we can now consider each other family. We have been more than a "disney group". We have been each others shoulder and each other's strength.

I have one other internet "family"..i race online weekly with a group of guys from around N. America. One was away this week because he lived in NYC and is helping with the efforts, and the non-presence of his car hit home a little bit more....He said he could have been down there when it came down, just as he was down in that area at that time of day so many times before. He just got lucky that day.

No matter who you are, this has affected you, and it will continue to do so until the people responsible are brought to justice and the towers are rebuilt (and they will be, talks are already underway).

So to my extended family I say thank you for your prayers and thank you for just being there.

I not only want to thank this board but all Americans. Its such a great feeling having all Americans together. In the aftermath, we have been given a taste of world peace and I think everybody is hungry for more. Kids in my school are nicer to each other, Seniors are helping our Freshmen... its just so beautiful. This event has surely brought the entire nation together and I just wish this amount of nationalism, patriotism, and just plain love could remain forever.
