We are leaving Friday for our trip! We have not been in ages. Any tips? We got comfortable shoes, we got ponchos. Anything else you recommend we do or take that one wouldn’t normally think of. Youngest person is 17 so no kids! I’m hoping this is way easier than when we’d take them as kids. On the downside we’re older... with aches & pain we didn’t have back then lol!

A couple of clothes pegs to hold curtains closed.

Some ziploc bags for left over snacks / cupcakes (yeah, I know bit some people save them apparently), or to keep things dry in a downpour. Or just go to Splash Mountain and get your free one!

A re-fillable water bottle perhaps.

Hand sanitizer, any OTC medication, sunscreen. This is weird, but my sister swears by it, deodorant on your thighs to prevent chafing (that is, if you deal with that).

The only other tip I have is to make sure to take time to just be in the moment. I had one trip where I was so focused on getting photos that I didn't get to really live in the moment.

You will have a blast! :)

Definitely pack comfortable shoes, ponchos work and so do umbrellas if you'd rather not sit in a puddle that just came off the poncho. Pack enough clothes for one outfit a day plus one, in case a spill happens.

As far as after arrival, always leave plenty of travel time (1 hour is recommended regardless of the transportation option), and try not to wear yourselves out; take plenty of breaks in the shade and stay hydrated.
