WDW's Haunted Mansion should get a major rehab

The lastest article from Al Lutz mentioned about the upcoming HM change in DL right after last year's major rehab. They are planing tp add some new 21th century special effect to replace to old corny effect. http://miceage.com/allutz/al022806b.htm Sounds very cool. But it just reminds me when is the last time HM has ever gone through major rehab. The sound effect of MK's HM is terrible. Besides DL has HM holiday version. What happened to WDW's HM?

HM will get a nice rehab eventually...Pirates just happens to be going first. I would personally rather see Space Mountain go next. The HM could use work, but even in its present version, it's still great. Space Mountain is just sad.

Looks like never. POTC rehab seems to be bigger at DL as well. And where is the submarine in MK? a playground right now. Wow, nice rehab, well done WDW.

The update for the DL haunted mansion sounds great! I love how the imagineers have turned the tables to make it so the bride kills all her husbands with an axe. sounds goood

But think about how much older DL's mansion then our's. We'll catch up, DL's opened in 1967, I believe, ours opened in in 1971, 4 years later. I would not be surprised to see one soon, like I said, it's time will come.

The Disneyland Haunted Mansion has been closed for two months for yet another rehab. It opens next week. They repainted the exterior (again) and did some major rework on the queue and brickwork around the house. It all looks great through the holes in the construction fence.

And now there's this rumor from Miceage that they are dramatically changing some of the show elements inside the ride itself. We'll have to see what develops there.

But Haunted Mansion at Disneyland gets a nice rehab every year, usually during January/February after the Holiday version is taken out.

Disneyland's Haunted Mansion opened August, 1969. WDW's Haunted Mansion opened October, 1971. That's only two years difference. 37 years old versus 35 years old.

I heard rumor of Spring 07 for Mansion's Extensive refurb -- that this was Pirates' year and next up would be Mansion. Haven't heard what would be done effects wise if anything -- I would assume the Audio would be updated (It needs it like heck), and hopefully, HOPEFULLY they would do something to make Every Mansion in the world it's own Mansion . . . They have so much room at the beginning of the attraction from the Load to the Stairway -- rip that all out and DO SOMETHING GREAT!!! Something truly creepy - no ghosts, but overall chill down spine eerieness.

Maybe that's just me .

I went on the Haunted Mansion New Year's Eve and it definitely could use a rehab (I assume that means 'makeover' in a sense?). It's always tons of fun (I just adore that ride) but it 'could' be better. I really think so.

Really, I enjoyed it on my last trip. of course, it was my first time though. I think the Mansion should get it first.
