Venom: I remember the tribe. They say they found me at the bottom of a ravine. They were hunters and warriors, but only in self-defense. I must have escaped and fled into the woods that night. I had no memory prior to this... the tribe trained me, and with my parents backgrounds, it's no wonder I was so gifted and skilled. Ophelia eventually tracked me down and took me under her care when I was about 14. I knew she always seemed trustworthy and comforting to me for some reason, obviously a repressed memory.

Vader: Yes, Ophelia and I have talked... she thought I was dead. Your mother had died in America as well so Ophelia thought it best to never tell you about our troubled past and just let you accept the person you had become.

Venom: So you know about Sparky and my mom being killed.

Vader: Sparky? No. Your mom being killed, yes. She was found out as a trader and although her name had been cleared, some biased locals grouped together to just scare your mom a little. Well, the prank went wrong and the entire house was gone. Now what about Sparky?

Venom: Oh... um... just how she got into WDWME. :lookaroun

Vader: Well, to continue... I had fled to America to seek out your mother and ask her forgiveness. Eventually I gave up and began my training to join the WDWME, never knowing what had happened to your mom. When the Cold War was over the search for me was as well. After the lose of you and your mom I reverted back to my inner demons and devoed all my time to training and eventually attempting to make the world better once again.

Venom: Thus the introduction of Judge D.

Vader: Yes, I was troubled and confused. Ophelia heard of me in the states as a rising WDWME star. She was so thrilled to see me alive but did not know how to tell you.

Venom: That must be when she convinced me to go to America and make a career out of the WDWME. Ophelia knew many talents already and once she tasted the show life she went back to recruit others. She left the past for me to discover knowing it lied here in the WDWME all along.

Vader: I must admit, it had been so long since I saw you last that I was never sure it was you. I thought you were dead. I saw the similarities but nothing more. Ophelia had changed her name and appearnace as well, so it took time for me to see the bigger picture. Ophelia was looking out for me as well by not revealing you while I sorted out the madness in my head. Once my power hunger had reached it's climax and the dWo was no more, I could finally reflect on the past and see where I came from, what i once was, and where I had been. I finally realized the future lies in all of us making our own decisions and that we alone can make our life easy or hard. Oddly, I found a younger version of myself in you when you joined the dWo... how ironic in retrospect.

Venom: I am in total awe. This is a lot to take in, but it makes so much sense. Still, there is....

Vader: What, you are hiding something. I have filled in in on your past and you still don't know whether to trust me or not?

Venom: Well, it's just that....

Vader: A sister.... you have a sister. Sparky.

Venom: Yes... mom remarried when she moved here and had a daughter before she died in the accident.

And I think I speak for everyone in saying thanks to SPIDER-MAN for starting this little diversion for us to play with. I don't think many of us have ever thought of somehow combining all things Disney with wrestling.

With the end of the WDWME coming with our last show on Sunday, let's all enjoy the last few day we have. As Spider-man said a while back, we're going to go out on top.

I believe we have neared the limits of combining members, Disney, and Wrestling anyway, so it's best to pretend there is such much more that could happen then to let the thread flounder. I believe it is safe to say that there is more thought per post in this thread than any other out there... that says a lot to me. Glad everyone had fun and it sounds like RotP will be the great farewell we were all hoping for...

Venom's past is now revealed, and honestly was as much a surprise to me as the rest of you... sure I knew some things I had in mind to begin with, but in honestly... the stories write themselves. I have to say that both Vince's "IASW Song" and "WDWMagic Prom" threads helped inspire me. I was going to post a simple Wrestlingpost in Mindless Banter, the idea grew into this and what an idea. Even I did not see the full potential that was brought about by all who gave input and thought.

Image: "Well, I have a few things to speak about...."

"First of all, in the Final of the Women's Caged Heat tournament, Angel, the WDWME Womens' Champion will face Babymaker for her title. The touranment was originally to take place entirely in cage matches, HOWEVER, I've decided to turn up the dial on this match...."

"Picture this, an open top cage on the ring....but, connected to the top of each side of the cage is a chain-link ladder which goes up an additional 15 feet to a grid of rings hanging from the roof. Also, suspended, in the center of the rings will be the WDWME Womens' Belt. The only way to win is to climb the cage and the ladder up to the rings, swing your way across, get the belt, and THEN escape from the cage...I call this match..."IF YOU HAD WINGS"."

'Now, in the for the Hardcore title, RPG will take on DogKind in an Ultimate Hardcore match. What exactly does that mean? Well, DogKind would be better to explain that, but I know they have reguested flaming ropes, barb-wire wrapping baseball bats, stop signs, and various other torture devices that have NEVER been used in a ring here in the WDWME."

"Fimally, Y2A, not only can't you keep your nose out of other people's business, but your crummy little toady, Tench can't either, thats why, when we meet this Sunday at RotP. We will meet in the Geosphere of Death. Thats right, Our match will take place IN the earth globe spinning high about the MagicTron. Of course, this will be made more dangerous by the fact that the globe will periodically open and close, giving us the possibility of a 35 foot drop to the concrete floor. You say I should be afraid...HA....I don't fear death, because I, like you, have have seem it, looked it in the face and escaped."

"Unfortunately, you won't fare quite as well in this match, as I may have to send you to face death once again, and he doesn't look kindly on repeat visitors. Then I will hold the title, and prove that you are nothing by yourself. My sights are set directly on you Y2A, and that's NOT good for you...."

The MagicTron fades to black, leaving a red target-shaped light shining on the screen....

[Legacy]

*Desire and Venom run into each other backstage. They stop and size each other up, unsure of the other's next move. You can see in their eyes a bit of distrust, but also respect, from the recent events that both of them have been involved in.*

Desire- This Sunday is it.

Venom- Yes, it is.

*A pause*

Venom- I was curious who the Reflection of Dream's past was.

Desire- It runs deep. I sensed something was wrong in our camp and gave Contradiction a call. Dream was involved with them before we joined the WDWME. They had a falling out, and I picked up the pieces, seeing the potential in Dream.

Venom- Nice.

Desire- It is. Not only that, but Legacy also had that involvement of Freak becoming the HeartFreak Kid.

Venom- Wow... looks like Dream has made a few aquantances along the way.

Desire- You could say that.

*Pause again.*

Desire- You have had some Reflections as of late, too.

Venom (shaking his head)- Yeah... who would have known.

Desire- Who indeed? But congratulations.

Venom- For what?

Desire- For finding what you wanted. You had the makings of a Legacy right there. You had what it took, and you got it.

Venom- I guess so...

Desire- But it looks like our Legacy was all an illusion...

Venom- Why do you say that?

Desire- Look at us. Dream and Drive have lost the course, and I am left scrambling for the pieces. Hopefully some part of the Legacy will be remembered after this Sunday.

Venom- It will.

Desire- What makes you so sure.

Venom- You put up one heckuva fight when you get going.

Desire- You do too, man.

Venom- I wouldn't worry too much about Legacy being forgotten. I mean YOUR Legacy. Not those two kids...

Desire- I'm glad you think so. Hey, good luck this Sunday.

*Desire holds out his hand. Venom looks at it and shakes it.*

Venom- You too.

*The both give a half-smile and then turn.*

Desire- Oh, and tell your kid I said hi.

Venom- I will.

*They proceed on thier seperate ways.

Y2A: *on the phone* Yeah, of course. No sir, you will not be disappointed. Oh, I can't wait to see the look on their faces. Hahaha.

Image: "Guys, I know you all have your hands full Sunday night, bbut I've got to ask you all a favor....we need to make sure that Tench does not leave the ToT match so that he might interfere and help Y2A. Aslo, I would appreciate it if you all would watch my back during my match...in other words, don't let anyone get involed with my match, I want Y2A Man=toman....do I have your support...."

There's a general murmur of agreement in the room, with all saying yes....

Image: "Thank you all...good luck Sunday..."

WDWME Presents Reflections of the Past


The show opens not with music or a special clip but with the face of...
Vince McMahon.

McMahon: Now don't adjust your television sets, your eyes aren't playing tricks on you either. It's me alright. So you're probably asking "What on earth is Vince McMahon doing on a WDWME program?" Well, to answer that, I'm sure you all know by now that this will be the final WDWME show... but do you know why? You see, this sorry excuse for a wrestling promotion with its wannabe "superstars" is suffering to make ends meet. Your owner, Steve, did everything he could to keep it going, but alas, he exhausted all his options. So he was forced to sell it to the only man who could do anything about it, Vincent Kennedy McMahon. That's right. I now own WDWME. But don't worry, I'm sure we can all be friends. You see, sooner or later, every wrestler will eventually work for me. Some may not like it... some might, everyone has a price. *camera zooms out to show Y2A standing behind him* You see, your world champion has already seen the light, he's seen what I can do for him. He's known all along about what was gonna happen and he made the right decision by jumping aboard. So there will be a place for him in the future of this business, but as for the other performers you have here, well, I'll decide their fate and the fate of this promotion later in the show. Enjoy!

The opening video then plays welcoming everyone to Reflections of the Past. The show starts but it is a somber mood as everyone is in disbelief at what they just saw.

World Tag Team Championship
DMC & The HeartFreak Kid vs Contradiction vs Legacy

The match starts off with HFK and Dream. The action is very slow at first. It seems that they are all very distracted by the announcement made just a few moments ago. It's several minutes of a very slow-pace match. The wrestlers are simply not into it. DMC and Grizz are currently fighting, Legacy huddles in their corner discussing something. They both then jump into the ring, attacking both teams. It looks like they're trying to take advantage of the distraction. They've thrown Contradiction out of the ring and are now concentrating on DMC and HFK. HFK tries to fight back and attempts freak chin music but he hits the ref instead. Legacy then throws HFK out of the ring and starts a beating on DMC. With the ref out, Desire runs down for the opportunity for some payback. He drills Dream with a chair and tries to hit Drive but Drive ducks and clotheslines Desire out of the ring. Drive, unfortunately, turns around right into HFK's freak chin music. He covers Drive and the ref gets up and counts the 1,2,3. HFK and DMC are the new tag champions.


Hardcore Championship - Ultimate Hardcore
DogKind vs RPG

Dogkind comes out with a wheelbarrel full of the most bizarre weapons. RPG comes out to his usual posing. But while he's posing, Dogkind whacks him with a stop sign. He's now clubbing him with a 2 x 4 wrapped in barbed wire. It's a disgusting sight as RPG is simply being cut up.
The match is only about a minute old, but RPG is already a bloody mess. This is not his usual hardcore match, Dogkind is just a demented person, hitting RPG with everything in his arsenal. RPG tries to fight back, by doing a split and hitting Dogkind below the belt. No matter how hardcore you are, that's still gotta hurt. RPG now goes on the offensive, hitting Dogkind with all his signature moves. But Dogkind comes back again with his weapons, this time wrap a cord around RPG's neck, trying to choke him out. RPG counters however with a jawbreaker. Dogkind goes for another weapon, this time, the old fashion steel chair... bad move. That's just what RPG wanted as he delivers a swift roundhouse kick to the chair, sending it smack into Dogkind's face, knocking him down. RPG then jumps to the top rope and hits his frogsplash on Dogkind and gets the pin to retain his title.


Women's Championship - "If You Had Wings"
Babymaker vs Angel

The match starts with Baby trying attack Angel but Angel quickly moves out of the way and slams Baby down. With that, Angel immediately runs up to climb the cage. But Baby runs over and pulls her back down. The matches continues to be much like that, Baby wanting a fight but Angel wanting just to be done with the match. Baby soon delivers an impregnator to Angel. With her down, Baby finally decides to climb up. She is however quite clumsy in climbing up. By the time she reaches the chain ladder, Angel has recovered and starts to climb herself. Baby is having even greater trouble on the chain ladder. Angel eventually makes it up to the same level as Baby. The two reach the rings at the same time. Angel makes it to the center first, she swings back and forth trying to remove the belt. Baby then makes her way to the center. The two are kicking each other, trying to knock the other off. But then, out of no where, Baby grabs Angel and gives her a deep long kiss. The crowd suddenly becomes just frozen at the scene. Angel then just hangs there in shock, which lets Baby grabs the belt for the win. Baby is the new women's champion.


Backstage, Dark Image has called together the entire roster of wrestlers to discuss to purchase of WDWME.

Image: Listen, I know we are all a little worried. We all have concerns over our future, our families, and our livelihood. But we can't lose faith. We have to hope some good can come out of this. We have to carry on as usual and give the fans the show they wanted. Especially tonight, we have to go out there and fight our hearts out, no matter what tommorrow brings. Remember, we've stood united before, and to get through this difficult time, we're gonna have to do it again.

All the wrestlers agree and approve. Just then, Y2A is seen in the back of the room laughing.

Y2A: Look at you guys, you're pathetic. Oh oh, we have to stand united, wah wah wah. You think unity means anything? You think this promotion means anything? No, the only thing that means anything is yourself. You gotta do whatever you can to move on. You can do all the wishful thinking you want, but unless you go my way, you won't be having a job tommorrow.

Y2A leaves the room as the rest of the roster shouts obscenities at him.


Disney International Championship - Tower of Terror

All the participants enter the contraption but before the bell rings, they all attack each other. It's just pure chaos in the ring. It's hard to even look at. Just pure mayhem. Bodies being thrown everywhere. With so many participants, no one has time to really do any manuevers, it's just bash bash! The thirst for the title is even stronger tonight, with the end of WDME looming over them. It's just several more minutes of sheer brutality, several wrestlers try to climb the tower but all get grabbed and pulled back down. Soon, weapons are found and thrown into the mix. Chairs, bats, and pipes are being swung around all over the place. Eventually, several of the participants are just completely beaten down, allowing a certain few to scale the tower. It's Venom, Desire, Vader, Chin, and Tench who are climbing the tower. They've all made their way to the second cage. Then, they all remember their promise to take out Tench, all four converge on him, beating the snot out of him. They then throw him back into the pile below. The four now battle each other, the father-son duel of Venom and Vader take on Desire and Chin. Desire falls off the cage but grabs onto the side of it. Chin is now double teamed. Chin is whacked with a weapon and thrown back down to the ring. With that, Vader and Venom make their way to the elevator. Desire climbs back up and tries to stop them. The 3 battle it out for use of the elevator. Then, Dream and Drive run out to the ring and climb up the tower, they're trying to interfere. While the 3 battle, Legacy makes their way up. They try to attack Desire but he moves out of the way and they charge at Venom and Vader instead, knocking all of them into the elevator with such force that it sends the elevator plummeting down instead of going up. Desire is alone at the top but must climb the last stage without the use of the elevator. He makes his way up to the very top and reaches for the belt. He pulls it down as the bells rings proclaiming him the new Disney International Champion.


Handicap Match
The Bat vs DA & Custodial

The matches starts off with Bat and DA. It's a quick back and forth wrestling match with Bat soon getting the upper hand. But just when he think he has DA where he wants him, Custodial is tagged in. The match continues to be just like that, with DA and Custodial tagging in and out, each time fresh to beat on a tired and worn out Bat. DA and Custodial then unleash their double team move, the broombreaker on Bat. DA pins Bat for the victory. they were concerned about another Jaminator coming down, but I guess it's safe to assume that it ends with the Bat.

World Heavyweight Championship - Geosphere of Death
Dark Image vs Y2A

Image comes out first and enters the globe above the stage. Then the champion enters accompanied by Mr. McMahon to the chants of "You Sold Out!" by the crowd. Mr. McMahon watches from the outside as the match begins. The match starts off with Image being aggressive but Y2A dodging his attacks. Soon, Y2A catches Image and thrusts him into the sphere. Y2A then begins to mount his offensive. Y2A locks Image into a hold, but Image counters by dropping back and slamming Y2A into the sphere. The match continues back and forth, Y2A trying to make it a technical fight, but Image forcing it into a brawl. Image's method wins out and begins to dominate the match. Y2A is thrown all over the place. Then in a scary moment, the geosphere opens and Y2A slips out but manages to grab onto the edge. Image grabs him back in and continues the beating. After a few more minutes, Image signals for black out, he tries to apply the move to Y2A but he's pushed away. Then Y2A reached inside his tights for something. As Image goes over to grab Y2A, Y2A throws some kind of powder into his eyes. That is perfectly legal in a match like this. With Image blinded, Y2A attacks. Y2A then goes to powerbomb Image on the sphere, but just then, it opens, and Image is thrown out of the sphere, crashing 30 ft onto the stage. The crowd gasps as the shocking sight. Image is not moving, EMTs rush out to his aid. The ref calls the bell and awards the match to Y2A. Mr. McMahon grabs the title belt and runs into the ring and Y2A follows him. The two mockingly celebrate as the crowd erupts in boos and throws trash in the ring.

McMahon: You see, this is what I'm talking about. WDWME is simply the biggest joke of a federation in this industry. Why, just look at your commissioner! Just look at that! Everything, your hopes, your dreams, all fell out of the sphere with him! Hahaha! Now that this pitiful show is over, let me tell you what I'm gonna do with WDWME. You see... I could keep it running, doing show after show, collecting all that money. I am a business man after all. But I'll tell you what, for once, I'm not gonna do what's best for my wallet cause I'm gonna bury WDWME. You hear me... IT'S OVER!!! All your wrestlers, all your little heroes, they're all gone! That's what happens when you get in the way of Vincent Kennedy McMahon, you get crushed, you get driven so deep into the ground, not even the lowest organisms in the world can find you. You hear me... from this day on, WDWME is no more!! The only remnant you'll ever see of this pitiful promotion is this man... Y2A! The only thing here worth anything worth anything and you know why? Not cause he's a great wrestler, not cause he's the champion, but because he KNOWS his role.. his role to serve me!!! Hahahaha!

As the two men celebrate in the ring, another man steps out from the stage... it's Steve!

Steve: Listen Vince, I may have sold you this company, and you can do whatever you want with it, but that is not until tommorrow. If this is to be the WDWME's swan song, the fans deserve something better than this. I will not let it end this way. The WDWME championship match is not over. I'm restarting the match!

Y2A: What? You can't do that. Image is in no condition to fight!

Steve: ... then fight ME!

*Y2A stands there shocked*

McMahon: What? Have you finally lost your marbles, you fool! You're not a wrestler, Y2A will destroy you. I know you want to save whatever dignity WDWME has, but come on, don't embarrass yourself! But you know what... I could use a little entertainment and nothing would make me happier than to see you get the beating of your life. So alright, get in the ring and give it your best shot. Hahaha!

Steve enters the ring as Y2A is still in disbelief over his announcement. The bell rings and Steve puts his arms up to defend himself but Y2A stands there, almost refusing to attack. McMahon screams at Y2A to attack. Steve charges at Y2A but Y2A simply grabs him and slams him to the mat. The match continues with Steve constantly trying to attack but to no avail. It is complete domination by Y2A. Steve continues to get beat down, but keeps getting right back up, refusing to stay down. He may not have the skills of a wrestler, but his heart is bigger than the whole arena. Steve is eventually busted open and blood oozes from his face. Mr. McMahon is enjoying every moment of it. The locker room can no longer stand back and watch such a sickening spectacle. The roster of wrestlers marches down the aisle to Steve's assistance... but Steve stops them. He motions them to go back, he wants to fight the match himself. Y2A continues to beat on Steve. Steve keeps falling down but getting back up, screaming at Y2A to hit him again. Soon, Steve is no longer able to stand up and lays on the mat. Y2A goes to pin him, but McMahon tells him not to. He doesn't want the match to end, he wants the slaughter to continue. Y2A motions for Steve to get up, but Steve cannot get back on his feet, he grabs the ropes for leverage but still collapses to the mat. McMahon is erupting in laughter outside the ring. Y2A ceases his attack as he looks at Mr. McMahon. He then looks at the locker room standing on the stage. After a pause, Y2A goes over to Steve, lays down, ands pulls Steve over him. He's allowing himself to get pin. McMahon is screaming outside the ring. The ref counts to three and ends the match. The announcer proclaims Steve as the new WDWME World Champion as Y2A leaves the ring. McMahon gets in his way and demands an explaination but Y2A simply ignores him and walks away. Mr. McMahon then angrily exclaims that Y2A is fired! Y2A then walks past the congregation of wrestlers on stage without looking at them and leaves the arena. With that, the roster runs down the to ring to embrace Steve. They strap the world title on Steve and lift him on their shoulders. It is a giant celebration in the ring.

McMahon: Whoa! Whoa! So you got your title back, big deal! This company is still mine and it's over. You can celebrate all you want, but remember this, none of you are coming back. YOU'RE ALL FIRED!!! This place has and always will be a second rate piece of trash!

Steve: That is where you're wrong, Vince. WDWME is not just about wrestling, it's not just your "sports entertainment". WDWME is so much more. It's about the courage, strength, sacrifice, will, and hope that binds together the dreams and fantasies of each and every man and woman. WDWME is not a company, it's a family. You may think you own this business, but WDWME will never die. It will live on in our hearts and minds. WDWME will continue to live on in ourselves and each other. But I guess someone like you will never understand that...

*As Mr. McMahon prepares to give a response, he is drilled with freak chin music courtesy of HFK.*

Steve: Oh and one more thing, you don't own this company until tommorrow. Security, get this man out of my building.

*Mr. McMahon is dragged out as the fans and wrestlers celebrate one last time*
