WDWmagic.com West Coast Meet Update - Dates!

Looks like the best dates so far will be the second weekend in Decemeber, unless someone else wants to spearhead one for the weekend before (in which case - send me a postcard!).

So - we're looking at a character meal and/or a blue bayou meal
I'm going to check into getting some reserved seating for the fireworks and holiday parade (even if it has to be reserved by my DH with some BIG blankets! LOL) and a dessert party to go with those!

Please let me know who's interested and how many will be in your group - and if you need hotel accomadations (maybe we can work out a discount for a DLR hotel).

I do have some things going on in my personal life that may leave me wheelchair bound for this trip (blah), but I'll only pass the torch or cancel if I can't make it. I should know in a couple weeks. I may be a live liver donor for my biological father, who is dying of liver failure due to Hepatitis C and Hemachromatosis. We're still checking to see if I'm a good match.

(Not to bore ya'll with the details, but I was adopted from birth into a great family. When I was 19, I found my biological family and my father and I have become very close. He's currently trying to raise my 1/2 sister - who is under a year old. He's in his mid 40's. I'm 24. Anyway, that's what's in limbo right now. The surgery has a 3 month recovery period for me, but I bet cha I can be out before then, just not doing a lot of walking and standing and stuff. But as things go now, the plan is to still go! Keepyour fingers crossed that he can get a cadaver liver soon instead please. Thanks!)

Since the major surgery I was going to have looks like a no-go - I'll be there with bells on! So it's time to start plannin'!

Who's going to be up there in the morning? Do ya'll want to do a breakfast? Would a Blue Bayou lunch suite ya'll better?

I'm definately aiming for resevering some seating for the holiday parade and fireworks (even if I have to camp out with a blanket myself! LOL).

I'll be there whenever y'all will! What days over the weekend are we planning? Just one day, or sat/sun or something? The sooner I know, the sooner I can get my day off request in for that weekend.
