I made my first visit this week to Disneyland after only going to Disney World my whole life. I gotta give it to Cali for their weather. No humidity made the heat much more bearable than in Florida. I will say I enjoyed my time immensely. Almost every ride that the two parks share is better here. Highlighted by haunted Mansion holiday which is a masterpiece. California adventure was also very fun. Carsland and grizzly river run was great. Pixar Pier on the other hand was underwhelming. Nice theming but uninspiring rides. After thinking it over I have to give it to WDW as the better destination. While disneyland park is better than magic kingdom and DCA slightly better than Hollywood studios the fact that WDW has Epcot and my personal favorite AK pushes it over the edge. Plus there is something about never leaving the property that makes Florida's resort that much more magical.
That being said can they please bring HM holiday to Florida.

Sort of my sentiments. Disneyland is still the best individual park. Even over Magic Kingdom. It is hard to beat. But overall, WDW trumps Disneyland Resort. It is just simply too grand. It is its own town, its own community. There is so much beauty here, architecture, space, boat transportation, etc. that makes it so much more appealing. Disneyland Resort is quaint, and there is nothing wrong with that, but my cousin is a Disneyland veteran and he is simply just blown away after going to WDW and exploring the different things for the first time. It just doesn't compare size-wise. He also was hesitant on Disneyland Park being better than Magic Kingdom. He loved both. So do I, but if I had to pick I go with Disneyland.

Just shows you the things WDW offers.
