WDW with hearing aids?

A friend of mine is going to Disney for the first time. She has a son who is almost three and wears hearing aids. The volume control has been disabled so that he doesn't accidentally turn them down. What rides would you recommend and what should he avoid? Water and loud noises would probably be issues. Anyone with hearing aids or with a young child with hearing aids? I would appreciate any input.

EDIT: Oops! I guess I posted in the wrong spot but I have no idea how to move it. Help please!

I am not worried about noisy rides as my hearing aid have a digital compression system and that cannot amplify over a certain level. If you think the loud noise bothers his kid then it will be better to turn it off on ride. I hope he will enjoy hearing sounds of Disneyland.
