WDW vacation package in the mail

Have they been mailing out WDW vacation packages in the mail a little later than they used to (the package with your reservation info, luggage tags and vouchers etc.)

How many days out from your vacation have people been receiving this lately?

Yes, they have been mailing out the packets around the 30 day mark now since that's now when the final payment is due. It's always so exciting when that packet arrives so it arriving a little later can be worrying. But think of it this way...now when you receive it you will know that you are that much closer to your trip

That's what I was thinking, that it was the 30 day mark, but I'm down to like 15 and I still haven't received anything, I'm wondering if it's time to give them a call?

UPDATE: Just got off the phone with Disney and they said that they are not mailing out travel documents to Canada right now because of a looming postal strike (although I'm pretty sure that Canada Post settled that a little while back). Anyway, she was surprised to hear that I had received a Magical Express package in the mail and said my other documents should be at the hotel with my MagicBands.

I was going to say that I received mine about a week ago (maybe a little over a week) and we check in on the 24th.

I also heard somewhere else on here (not sure who's post) that the postal strike in Canada was preventing the packages from being sent.

The postal strike is resolved, so they should get back to mailing them out! Can't wait to get ours at the end of January. Love those yellow luggage tags!

Ya, I mentioned to them that I though it was already resolved, but I didn't really want to get into it with them, I figure as long as everything is at the hotel when I get there it doesn't make much of a difference (although I do love the excitement of getting that package in the mail). I'm sure they'll have it figured out long before you January trip!
