WDW upgrades/changes

Just an observation I had regarding changes at the parks and what Disney has done to make continuous changes. Might be a little fuel for those who question why some of us go to WDW every year.

Our last visit was in September 2006 and we will be going again in December 2007. Here are the new additions/upgrades that have occured since our last trip:

1. Finding Nemo Musical
2. Finding Nemo ride at The Living Seas
3. Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor
4. High School Musical Pep Rally (soon to be HSM 2 Pep Rally)
5. Gran Fiesta Tour
6. Dream Along with Mickey show at the castle
7. O Canada new movie
8. Haunted Mansion refurb
9. Spaceship Earth refurb (to open this Nov, I think)
10. Yak & Yeti restaurant
11. Tusker House converted to table service.
12. AKL DVC

There are some smaller changes, too, like the new interactive queue for Soarin' and I'm sure a few other items as well. Also, in just another 5 more months after December, we'll have Toy Story Mania, too.

Point is, in just 15 months, there are basically over a dozen new attractions for us to visit, which in my mind justifies a trip every year to see all the new changes/additions and relive the magic.

I don't need to justify why I go every year; I just love it!!!
But you are right; it helps keep things fresh when there are new/refurbed attractions to visit each trip. I can't wait to see HM next spring!

Not sure I would count the AKL DVC or Tusker House converted to table service changes as something that would make me want to go (unless someone wanted to pay for the DVC for me?1?) but thats still 10 changes or additions.

When you look at it like that it is very good. Perhaps we're not talking major changes (like the addition of EE was) but it still about 9 more things per year than most parks!
