Well I just got back from another WDW trip. Weather was so-so. Kind of cold for Florida, the last 2 days was in the 50's (Thursday & Friday). The last day I left (Saturday) was around 80. GRR!!.. Anyways...
Magic kingdom: 20k leagues under the sea still has signs up for refurbishment.
-Splash mt. had some tech. difficulties, the ride stopped 6 times in a period of 10 minutes.
-Stitch's Great Escape's gift shop merchant of venus had a refurbishment wall up.
*There were no lines on Splash mt. everyday I rode it. WDW has never seemed so empty! The longest wait I had was 2 minutes, and that was when they were seeing if my 3 year old brother was tall enough, & he was (B/C we bought him "special shoes" that give him height) :sohappy:
-Other than that, there weren't really any lines-- execpt for getting some good ol food
*Epcot- Everything normal. Still wasn't busy. Mission space had No wait what so ever. The longest line for test track was 20 minutes, and I only saw that once.
-They have the Soarin' sign up.. Can't wait til thats finished!
MGM- No lines, once again. RnRc & ToT both had a wait time of 5 minutes, but I think they just put that there for looks.
Animal Kingdom- EE= looking good... It was a little busy when I went there. Dinosaur had the longest line of 15 minutes, still that wasn't bad though.
Nothing really out of the normal on this trip. The Castle looks great!
I love it.
Fireworks/parades/shows= all great performances, love it all.
Downtown Disney kind of surprised me though ( in a bad way ). The people in the marketplace had NO IDEA of where anything was. They said they just redid it the night before my mom and I were there. GRR!! I must've went around every shop at Disney looking for that Stitch Sweatshirt, that says stitch on the front and has a grey pic of him on the back. All they had was L, XL, and I needed a small
So I didn't get that. Also, I was going to get a personalized mouse pad, but they were all sold out. At the smoothie stand, I went to get my fav. peach smoothie (it's a tradition now!) but, they stopped making it!! How crazy is that?! One of the coolest things I Got was that crystal magic key chain from Epcot, (Figment's giftshop). I gave it to my boyfriend for a bday present... He found out it lights up, ha, something I didn't know...
I went to Wide World of Sports, also to get stuff for my b/f's bday (he's a brave fan :hurl: ) everything was nice and neat there.. A lot of Yankee fans were there (including myself) so that was a good thing :animwink:
Overall, this was a great trip! Wish I could've stayed another week
