WDW trip-planning novice: first time in Jan 2020

We're trying to plan our first trip from Southern Californiao WDW for our extended family of 6 and have been trying to do our research. We've already phoned and arranged our reservation of a 2 bedroom villa at Old Key West. But that's all we've done. I contacted a travel agent, but was told to call back around May or June.
So: here's the questions we can think of right now:
Should I still contact a travel agent?
If any package deals that would apply to OKW should open up, would we be able to take advantage of that if we already have our reservation in place?
We want to get 7 day park hopper passes for our 1/7/20 to 1/16/20 stay, but it seems it's too early to buy those tickets yet. When do park tickets usually become available for the following year?
Is there a good time to book flights? Any airline recommendations?
Thanks, and sorry for all the questions.

If you contacted a Travel Agent, she should've written down your information and said she would contact YOU when booking for 2020 is available. I'm not sure how you have a reservation in place for 2020 already, but you will need to see if you can cancel that booking if you decide you want a package deal. You can either contact that travel agent again or find a new one who can help you with all of these questions. A good travel agent can help you with all of these answers PLUS help you with dining suggestions & reservations, Fastpass suggestions & reservations, etc., at no extra cost to you.
