i always think its pretty cool to know some insider tips when visiting the parks.. does anyone have any.

Ill start us off

In the haunted mansion int the stretch room you can save a few minutes waiting time if you stand directly beneath the lady with the umbrella picture since the door to the ride opens up their

at the rocken roller coaster, when you get into the pre show area, most people will want to move all the way to the front and center, if you move all the way to the end of the hallway youll be the first in line of your group when the doors open up

at test track, use the singles line you'll save loads of time and if your with one other person most likely you be put in the same car anyway.

for reflections of earth, i think its either the lands canada, or england theirs a vip resereved area for watching the show, its defeinlety one of the best spots for an unobstructed view of the show, everytime i went to see it i asked nicely and kinda covertly to the cm who was watching the entrance if me and my cousin can just stand their. He said no problem, becasue their were only two of us. It was really cool though cause the cast member watching the are was the guy incharge of doing all of epcot advertising promotions and i had a really cool converstation with him.

I have other tips ill post as soon as i can remember them as well.

heres another tip...
if your planning on seeing fantasmic at disney studios, if you eat at one of the nicer resteraunts their, you can make a reservation for a fantasmic showing, which allows you to go see the show without waiting online and you get a special seating area

i think the resteraunts are the brown derby and momma mia's italian resteraunt

I don't know if this is really a tip, but if you are a pin collector, I have found that you are treated very nicely when you wear your lanyard!!! :) I'm not sure if they just think you are cast member, but I have been given free cookies, pins, and treated extra nicely.

Always watch Tapestry from near the gate between Germany and Outpost. You get to see double the parade!

And don't forget to say hello to John and Joan!

Also, try taking the Behind the Seeds tour in The Land. It's an hour long tour of the labs and greenhouses in the pavilion. It only costs $6, and it's worth it! Not only did I learn a lot and have fun, I also took some amazing pictures.

Tips, Shortcuts and Cool Info

Tips -
Magic Kingdom-

Best little secret - Eat at the Columbia Harbor House - Second floor - you get a good glimpse of LS and FantLan.

Fast Pass- You can get a new fast pass 2 hours from time. Go from one eticket ride to another. In addition, if you a fast pass is stuck in machine- no cast member - press back button of machine that key lock is not straight up.

Always go in the left side of Pirates.

During a parade try to stay on the left side of the park because, it will let you leave the park if you want. Example you’re on adventure land side (right side) you will not be able to leave because parade comes closes in Main Street on left

If it cold - no line for splash mountain.

On crowded days walk through main steet gift shops insted of street. This will save you a lot of time.

Epcot-

Epcot opens at 10:00 and closes every night at 9:00.

When gates open- Get Fast Pass first for Test Track then ride it.

Test Track while on TT look up in the Track course a segment - you will see the GM Lounge- a huge America Flag will be in the window.

Living Seas- ask Cast member to show you to sea base alpha before the movie the Sea comes on.

Body Wars - ask cast member to see simulator window. This will let you see it while in motion.

Land Pavilion- Annual Passholder Lounge - elevator next to garden grill- press 2 and 3 at same time.

San Angel Inn is always decorated nice for Christmas nicely.

Illuminations- if there wind cast members will go around taking wind speeds for the show.

For Illumination, do not stand between two gift shops between Mexico and Canada. Pillars will block your view.

New Years Eve the always gie out hats and horn for free.

New Years Eve is always great at Epcot- Illumination on New Year Eve is at 7:15 and at 11:37 that night.

MGM-

Always check the bulton board near the beging of sun set bulevard.

Star Tours - ask cast member to see simulator window. This will let you see it while in motion.

Go To ToT and RcRc before the Beauty / Beast show lets out.

Animal Kingdom-

Try not to go to Animal Kingdom in the summer. Not many indoor rides.

Camp Minnie Mickey is a nice place to relax- plus it looks like Frontier land.

Go on Kaliman in the morning.

In Dino, the main Dino is on the right side.

An old tip but the best tip...whenever going to or coming back from MK on a busy day, take the resort monorail and just get off at the TTC. Unless you no somebody who's done it or stayed at a monorail hotel you probably won't figure that out... sure helps on a busy summer night!

I have to disagree with this one. We WERE a resort guest trying to get back to the poly one saturday night and it took over an hour to do this on the resort loop. One of our members who's a monorail pilot confirmed that the express loop is usually faster. I forget if it has more trains or what but it actually does move more people in the same amount of time. Of course the line for the express is usually longer too.

My hint: If you're staying at the Poly and leaving MK at closing, I would take the ferry back to TTC then walk the rest of the way. Same advice for heading to and from Epcot. Walk over to TTC (it takes 5-10 minutes depending on what building you're in) for the monorail to Epcot rather than riding the resort monorail all the way around SSL which can take 15-25 minutes depending on time for loading and unloading at GF, MK and Contemporary.

If you dont like parades....use that time to get on as many rides as you can. MOST of the park is on main street watching the show, so the lines are a LOT shorter...

I meant to only do this if the ticket does not come out and there is not a cast member at the Fast Pass station!

Some fun tips for everyone:

FastPass: You can have a FastPass for two different rides at the same time. There's a loophole in the system: when the time is in the window of time on your ticket, you can get another FastPass because as of right now they don't keep tabs on whether or not your on the ride yet and they just assume you are, so you can get another one. Also, if your in a party that doesn't want to go on a ride with a long wait and doesn't want to go on a thrill ride use their tickets for FastPasses. My brother and I did this with our parents tickets for RnR Coaster twice, so we were able to go on it a total of four times.

AK - For the Safari, go around 4 or 5ish, this is when A LOT of people are leaving and also, right before everyone hits it for the last ride, you will also get to see most of the animals.

Ok I have to go now, my ride is going to be here soon to take me home from school. I'll try to post more if I can later.

Never go to the Safari after 4 until 4:45, you can't get through because of the Parade

Look for hidden dirt trails through out the AK park.
