Pre-Trip WDW Split Stay + DCL + SeaWorld in 30 days!

I have 11 days of Floridian bliss coming up September 16-27, 2016. We are total over-planners, and we like it that way. I might die of exhaustion, but it will be worth it, right???

My husband, 3 mousketeers (9,8, and 2) are going to conquer Florida with a Disney Land & Sea, and it's the kids' first cruise! (Oh, and they still don't know and we are 30 days out....eek!)

I had to add a 8-day trip to WDW because it's Epcot Food & Wine Fest (my fave time of year at WDW We are staying at POR for 3 nights, then Coronado Springs in Business Class for 4 nights.
When my in-laws found out, they had to join, of course, and then so did 13 other members of the family!! :eek:The ADR's were a bit challenging, but we worked it all out perfectly. :D We decided against MNSSHP because the cruise has a Halloween Party on board.

Day 1: Arriving at 10am, heading to AK, eating at Yak & Yeti for lunch, and then Sanaa, returning to the park after. FP for KRR, EE, Primeval Whirl. here's hoping it doesn't close TOO early now that the night time show is ending!!?

Day 2: Magic Kingdom, QS for lunch, not sure where yet probably Ray's because my kids love that whacky alien, Dinner at LTT, and FP are for Jungle Cruise, Under the Sea, and 7DMT.

Day 3: HWS, Sci-Fi Dine In for lunch, QS for dinner, probably try PizzaRizzo. FP for TSMM, Star Tours, and ToT.

Day 4: Switching resorts to Coronado Springs, and then going to Epcot. Akershus Royal Banquet for breakfast for the girls and Garden Grille for the boys, QS and snacks around the World Showcase for lunch and dinner. YUM! FP for Frozen Ever After, Mission:Space, and Nemo.

Day 5: Resort and Disney Springs Day, Biergarten for dinner, EMH at Epcot!!, Parents Night Out at Food and Wine Fest :D:angelic: FP for Soarin', Spaceship Earth, and TTWC.

Day 6
: Blizzard Beach all day, MK at night. Dinner at BOG at 6:30 and EMH until 10pm. FP for Space, Peter Pan, and HMansion.

Day 7: Magic Kingdom, Dinner at Chef Mickey's and my LAST Main Street Electrical Parade :cry: FP for 7DMT, Pirates, and Pooh.

Day 8: Renting a car from Disney Springs, driving to Port Canaveral, and boarding the Disney Dream! We decided to rent a car vs taking the Disney Cruise Line bus so we can stop and pick up some wine and diapers (what a shopping list, lol!)

Day 7-10: Disney Cruise to the Bahamas - Halloween on the High Seas cruise:joyfull:

Day 10: Debark and head back to Orlando, staying at hotel on I-drive (La Quinta Inn & Suites Conference Ctr. which comes with major SeaWorld Perks!) and going to SeaWorld for the day.

Day 11: Flying home!

I still haven't revealed the DCL/SeaWorld part of the trip to my kids, it's been so hard keeping it a secret!! Any surprise ideas are appreciated! I will post a trip report when I return, but you can follow my *Live* adventures on instagram @summerlovesdisney or on Facebook!

We went to Disneyland in April and the whole trip was a complete surprise for my daughter. We didn't tell her where we were going until we got to the airport. It was so fun. Maybe you could check the Disney Store to see if they have any DCL merchandise and then somehow give it to the kids?

We were thinking of just pulling up to the ship like, SURPRISE, we're not going home yet! But we want to tell them before hand so that they can pick their Halloween costumes for the on board party lol! I was thinking of maybe doing the DCL character call, where you set up a time, and Mickey calls and tells you you're going on a cruise, but is that too uneventful??

That could potentially be a good idea. Just make sure the kids are right by you since it's just an automated system.
