First of all, I wasn't sure exactly where this would go, so I decided to place it in here because it realtes to WDW. If you feel it should go somewhere else, please feel free to move it.

Well, I just wanted to know if any of you people keep a WDW scrap book. Something to hold your maps and such. I started making one a few months ago, and I've collected all the maps from my visits and placed them inside. I've also gotten brochures, and photos and placed them inside. I can't wait for my next trip to get more things. Do any of you do this?

I started scrapbooking earlier this year & I love it! Before doing standard "scrapbooks", I kept all of my Disney momentos in a regular photo album, organized nicely, so it fell under the same general idea. It allows you to keep a book that hold more than just photos, but COMPLETE memories. Very nice & presentable, as well as being A LOT of fun to create! There are lots of places on the web to find Disney scrapbooking materials, too!

My sister keeps everything! We have a rubbermaid storage bin of stuff she saves from our trips, this is separate from our photo albums. She plans on doing an ultimate scrapbook but we keep saying after our next trip, after our next trip at this rate it will never be done! So every now and then we just shuffle through our memories! She has fast passes (that we never used if you can imagine!) from rides, shopping bags/boxes, brochures, stickers and anything else you can imagine! We even bought a box of that Mickey Magix cereal, anyone else try this? it turns your milk blue, kinda scary, toooo sweet, but she bought it just for the cool pics on the box that she can cut out for the eventual scrapbook!

I have a scrap book of postcards, interesting aritcles from different papers, and all my room key cards. :)

I used a binder, with plastic sleeves for paper. They work pretty well, and it is really cheap to do.

At least I wasn't the only one!

Disney also carries scrapbooks at WDW...they have a Pooh bear and friends, and 2002 one, and a general WDW scrapbook...they retail around $30.00.

I once did a scrapbook of my MIL's wedding for a Christmas present - it turned out absolutely wonderful BUT I did it in one sitting (on Dec. 24th no less) and I swore I'd never do it again.

But ... BIG but here ... your post got me thinking that wouldn't it be nice to give her another scrapbook, one of our Thanksgiving 2002 Disney trip that we're all taking together, for Christmas.

Thanks for the idea!

I love scrapbooking - it's a fun winter project on a cold or snowy day (well, at least here in NY!).:)

Before we went to Disney, I bought most of my Disney background papers in many craft stores around here (Rag Shop, AC Moore, and Michael's). I also bought the Paper PIzzaz books that specifically have Disney paper. You can try www.paperpizazz.com and see if they have any available. There is one book called "Magic Kingdom Papers". It's really things from DL, but you can still use the majority of the papers for WDW. SandyLion has some great Disney stickers, and Stickopotamus (www.stickopotamus.com) has nice vacation themed stickers. I also bought some scrapbooking stickers when we were down there in May. They were $6.00 for 200 stickers depicting things from all 4 theme parks.

Of course, we came home Jun 3rd and I still haven't started the scrapbook yet! It takes longer to plan the pages than it does to actually assemble them together!:)
