WDW Resort Restaurant Suggestions

Hi, I'm visiting WDW this December 2002 and my husband & I love to restaurant-hop. Most of the restaurants we've tried have been in Epcot (Rose & Crown, San Angel Inn, etc.) I'm just looking to try something in one of the Resort Hotels and would appreciate any suggestions/recommendations.

Can anyone recommend a good Disney resort restaurant?:slurp:

Money isn't an obstacle, since it will be a special occasion (my husband's birthday). He doesn't like anything too noisy though.

Ever done the Coral Reef resteraunt in the Living Seas? Fulton's Crab House in Downtown Disney (or should I say Lake Buena Vista Marketplace) is really really good. Quiet too. Wolfgang Puck's is pretty good, the downstairs is a little noisey though. Now I'm hungry.

My favorite one is Ohana´s at the Poly. You can see the fireworks from there and the food is great! They bake their own banana bread that is delicious! It´s an all you can eat, they keep bringing it to your table until you say "stop!". The desserts are also very good. :slurp: :slurp:

If I were to pick one place at any WDW resort I would have to say O'Hanas, because the food is awesome and all you can eat, and the view is amazing, especially when there are fireworks going at MK. However, I think that part of the full Disney experience is to go for the places that aren't 5 star and (Walt Disney) World renound... for instance, my family always makes it a point to go to the Colonel's Cotton Mill at least once a vacation for a meal at Dixie not because it has the best meals this side of the mississippi, but because it is a Disney experience in and of itself and is full of memories for us. For me, this always makes for the best dining experience.

Lucky you Tara! I took my parents there too and they loved it! My best friends and I had a "farewell dinner" there before we went back to our countries, because it was our favorite place! :slurp:
