WDW Quality/Environmental Certifications

This is going to get a little geeky, so turn away if you want, but, as a Quality Manager in a manufacturing facility, I've always been curious as to what international quality/environmental/operational standards WDW (or Disney theme parks in general) are certified to. Some of these standards delve into very specific areas of operations, and it would be interesting (to me at least :D) to find out which ones apply. Also, having been through repeated audits for these types of certifications, I can only imagine the scope of the audits performed on Disney; our little facility takes 2-3 days to complete an audit. I'm assuming that one of the certifications would be ISO-14001, which is an environmental cert, and I believe they would have ones for food service, retail, animal conservation, etc.

Would these certifications be given from the Reedy Creek Improvement District? Because if they are local they may not be as strict but if they are nationwide then obviously that wouldn't apply.

No, these are designed and managed by the international body ISO (International Organization for Standardization). Private companies perform audits and certify companies, but the actual rules/guidelines of each certification are created by ISO.
