WDW Press conferences?

Is there like actual dates set for these conferences where they announce new attractions,etc. or do they just go out one day and say "today we are going to announce so-and-so"?

It seems a lot of them happen at press events, or just before. Also at the shareholder annual meeting.

I don't know of any scheduled press events, though surely there will be one when Destination Space opens in 2003. Trying to think what else is in the works now that might have an official opening...
