WDW or Cruise for bday trip?

I'm starting to plan my next trip for my 18th birthday, I'm want to do a cruise but I'm not sure if I would enjoy that as much as spending the weekend at WDW. My birthday is the middle of October & I will be paying for the majority of the trip for at least myself, if not some of my mom's costs. We would either be doing a 3 night cruise or 3 nights at Pop Century.
Has anyone done a cruise for a birthday? I spent my 17th bday at WDW, so that wouldn't be a first for me. If we did the cruise, it would be mine & my mom's first cruise.

Can anyone give me any advice as to whether we should go to WDW again (it would be my 6th trip) or try a cruise?

If you can, try to extend the cruise. I hate being confined and the only problem I had on the boat is theres 2-3 things going on all the time. Thats youe choice! Oh, the video games are expensive and there's so much free food you'll barf!

Since you've been to the World a few times, I would recommend the Cruise. We get APs every other year, but we took our first cruise on DCL back in March. It was awesome, a new but familiar experience. I would agree though, if you can make it the 4-night (or longer), go for it, those 3 nights were way too short.

Thanks for the help. I wouldn't be able to do a cruise longer than 3 nights because of my school schedule.
Anyone else have any opinions?
