WDW On-Line Hotel Check-In

Has anyone used the early on-line hotel registration (up to 10 days in advance) that WDW has available to it’s guests? If so, were you able to specify the area and floor of the hotel that you were staying at? We are arriving on Saturday morning (Port Orleans), October 17th and from what I’ve read the check-in lines are extremely long on the weekends. :shrug:

We used the on-line check in. Really not too much that you can specially check off. Just if you needed a fridge. (Which already was standard for our room.) We called down to the Caribbean Beach the day before our trip to request a specific area. The front desk clerk took our request and noted it in our paperwork. She said they could not guarantee it but they would try.
When we checked in there was no one in line and our request had been granted. Smooth experience.

I used online check in, I requested ground floor and I got it. The only thing I can't remember is if I requested the ground floor when I made the ressies or if I did it online. I think there is an area where you can type any request in, but I'm not 100% sure.

There's no field to enter free-text requests in the online check-in form. If you want to request a certain floor, building, etc., you need to call 407-WDISNEY and have them add the request to your reservation. Requests can be made at the time of reservation, or anytime after that. If you used a TA to make your reservation, they will need to add the requests for you.

I checked in on-line last night and noticed a couple things that didn't appear to be working correctly, so I thought I'd post to see if others were seeing the same thing.

1 - While there appears to be a place to enter specific room requrest, a pop-up box comes up, but I am not able to change the text of the request or save it. Here's where I find it:

Confirm or add special requests, Add A Room Request...
Pop Up Box: "Room Request"
Add up to 2 room requests. Though we try to honor all requests, we cannot guarantee them, unless otherwise indicated below.
CANCEL or SAVE

2 - It appears that Celebration Information can be viewed and edited, but not deleted? I tried adding some information when the on-line access first started, and those entries didn't show up at first, but appear to be now, so I have duplicate entries that I am trying to clean up.
