Does anyone here remember the old days at disney whenthe admission was either free or next to nothing then you had to buy tickets forthe attractions? You know a,b,c,d&e tickets. I remember seing a whole unused ticket book at my parents house years ago. I am wondering if someone knows if there are pic's of these old tickets on the web somewhere. please reply with a link or any rememberances of that old day gone by.

One more thought, does anyone remeber when Fort wilderness used to have a train that took you to MK? before there were any other parks?

Reply please

The first time I visited WDW was in 1980. We stayed at the Hotel Royal Plaza and bussed to the TTC. There was only the MK then. We purchased a 2-day passport which was a large type cardboard ticket, approx. 4"X6" with a string attached to it so you could hang it from your purse, belt loop, etc. The CM's at the front gate stamped the ticket with the date and you would show the stamped passport to the attraction CM who was taking the A, B, C, etc. tickets from the other guests. As I recall, there were 3 price groups, child, teen and adult. My brother was 17 and paid the teen price, I was 20 and had to pay the adult price. I can't remember the exact price but I do remember his ticket was about 3 or 4 dollars less than mine. Also available was a 3 day passport. Sorry, I don't have a picture anymore although we have some home movies of the trip with us and our tickets hanging from the strings attached to our belt loops blowing in the wind.
