I was thinking we should have a comprehensive list of WDW music/audio sites for those of us who are #DC challenged. (Like me)

It seems like its a frequent question here on the forums, and it would be convenient to just link to this thread when the question is asked. Maybe the thread could be stickied.

I'll list all those I know about below, and if everyone could add additional ones, that would be great.

Audio Download Sites:

http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/sounds.html
http://members.aol.com/muppetvisn/sounds.html
http://www.soundofmagic.com/

Online Radio Stations:

Loop Song Lists (no downloads):

I have bought many CD's over the years, I am not discouraging that. In fact, the last site on the list has led me to several CD's which I have then bought. This is just a resource for a question that is asked frequently. Also, there is a lot of music that is not currently available on CD.

Why are you #DC challenged? There is no possible way you can learn to use it? It's quite easy, really.

There's also dc-torrents.com which has a lot of the #DC stuff that you download in .torrent format which you then open in a bittorrent program which downloads the file for you from other users. That's easy too.

I have tried both of those, and gone through the tutorial, but it hasn't worked for me. I'm not the only one.

I have a funny habit. I buy Disney CD's for audio and DVD's for video.

Wow you mean you were able to buy the Horizons audio source ride through? Or get a copy of a If You Had Wings/Dreamflight tribute video with multi angle shots and construction pictures?

Disney must finally be catching on

What CD has the current Adventureland loop on it? How about the current Tomorrowland loop? Or maybe the Oasis loop?

I think I missed em in the stores...

The Adventureland loop is actually just an album by the Balafon Marimba Ensemble.

There are no CD's that I know of with the Tomorrowland or Oasis loops.

It was about a year ago, so I don't remember exactly, just that I was never able to get to any of the music. I'm not compaining, I just couldn't figure it out. That's why I go to other sources. As for other people, again I don't remember any specifics, but I know others couldn't figure it out either.

Anyway, let's get back to posting links, that's what this is about.

I know it can be frustrating, but if you'll put in the time to figure it out, you'll get way more NON-COMMECIALLY AVAILABLE media than you could every imagine. Trust me, it is worth it. I wouldn't spend too much time on #DC though, there aren't very many servers online except Dolby's excellent server.

Also, as for the comments on Disney CD's and DVD's... I've bought quite a few of these (almost all available Park CD's), but they just don't have the stuff I want on there. Believe me, if they ever release a WDW 6-disc set, I'll be first in line to BUY one. However, until then, I'll continue to download non-commercially available media.
