WDW lifegaurd wannabe

When I went to the WDW college program site...I discovered that you could apply and soon be a lifegaurd at one of the pools/water parks/ or marinas...

My question is has any of the College program grads or current students applied for one of the positions???
Do I even have a chance at getting a position???
Do I definatley have to be in the college program to be a WDW lifegaurd...

Any info would be great...

When you do the WDWCP, you put down your top 5 positions. You could put down Lifeguard as #1, but that does not mean your going to get it.

life guards can be fulltime, parttime, seasonal, or college program.

i'm going to make you jelous and say that I got to life guard for about 2-3 weeks while on the college program at blizzard beach. I got lucky enough to be cross trained outta food and bevarage

Lifeguarding

Actually Lifeguarding is a role which Disney usually needs people to fill. If you are applying for College Program and want to lifeguard your chances of getting it are very high. I was a lifeguard on the CP and loved it. I had never lifeguarded before, you just have to complete a swim test, and a three day certification program. I'm sure they also need seasonal lieguarding help during the summer. You should check it out. Let me know if you have any questions about guarding for Disney!!!
