Hey everyone,

Will be going to WDW April 1st - April 4rth 2015. This is our second trip to WDW and the first time we pretty much covered as much as possible (we were there 7 full days). My flight gets in pretty late so will only arrive at Wildnerness lodge (our resort) around 10 pm) I plan on going full days on Thursday and Friday(I currently have 2 day park hopper). If there is time and the wife is up for it (she will be 6 months pregnant) I will add Saterday until 3pm (but I want to plan around 2 days, 3rd would be a bonus)

Here's where things get hairy, the only thing we have booked so fay is 50's prime time in Hlwd Studios around 1:30pm (thursday)

We are probably going to skip Animal kingdom (and no water parks) this time and try and focus on MK, EP, & HS. My wifes sister is "probably" coming and she will ride all the thrill rides that my wife cannot ride and I think my wifes parents will be there to keep the wife company if we jump on a ride or two.

What I'm thinking is:
Thursday combo of - HS / MK
Friday - MK and finish the night in Epcot (flower festival - food truck) - or maybe reverse that and have lunch in EP and finish in MK

What do you guys think ? Can you guys recommend any iteneraries for 2 days ? Also, what shows are must-sees that both my pregnant wife and I can enjoy ?

All help & advice welcome, thanks in advance.

Josh

I've been to Disney at 6mos and 7mos pregnant, it's really not bad so long as she takes breaks here and there somewhere cool and knows where the restrooms are! Would also suggest sandals/shoes for her that offer expansion and won't hurt WHEN her feet swell (likely not an "if" scenario with the amount of walking you'll do).

HS really doesn't have much that she will be able to do, so unless her sister is coming for sure I would probably eliminate it altogether (GMR, Mermaid, One Man's Dream, TSMM maybe)... I don't know that what's left is enough to justify even a part day. Depends on what you like really.

MK and Epcot are going to have the most opportunities to do things as you know, divide the time up as you think you both would enjoy it. I would only suggest perhaps planning another meal or two in there, that way you KNOW you're going to have somewhere cool to sit down and relax for a decent amount of time.

I'm with @Wildflower on this!

My family is pretty MK-centric, but I know if I was pregnant (again), that's where I'd want to be -- the park with the most for me to do (other than Splash Mountain, Space Mountain and Big Thunder, there's not much a pregnant woman would realistically have to avoid), the shortest distance between attractions, the largest number of air-conditioned/shaded areas, the most-accessible places for me to sit down, grab a free iced water or snack and visit a restroom, and a railroad running around the outside of the park that can get me from one end to the other if I'm too tired to cross the park on foot. Plus, you'll have monorail access to Epcot right from the front gate. (In contrast, HS and AK are far bigger and/or badly laid-out, exhausting to navigate, offer fewer attractions and eateries in return, and have a larger proportion of attractions/shows that are outdoors in the heat.)

Because MK offers more than twice as much, it can take twice as much time to cover, even if you're only aiming for 75% or so of what's there. I'd therefore suggest doing only two parks, and making them MK and Epcot. I'd do MK on your arrival day (taking an afternoon nap/swim break from after lunch to about 4pm, bookended by touring from rope drop to lunch, and from 4pm to 9pm or 10pm). I'd do Epcot's Future World at rope drop the next morning, with lunch in World Showcase, and stay to tour the "countries" as long as you want. Have dinner at either park (or at one of the monorail resorts) and stay up late at the MK to watch the fireworks. If your wife feels up to it the next day, do the wise and gentlemanly thing, and simply go wherever the pregnant lady wants... ;)

Have fun!
