WDW in January

I was just wondering what WDW is like in January. I think that is the next trip that is being plan, since we can't go around Christmas time and I have a break from school in Jan. So if anyone can help it would be much thankful.

We went to WDW on the 2nd week of January 2000. It was great. We only had to wear a sweatshirt and pants one day, the other 8 days it was warm (upper70's during the day) and we wore shorts. We walked onto almost every ride except for Saturday at MK, which was pretty crowded. We are leaving in 10 days and we are already talking about our next trip maybe in January (since it was such a great month to be there).:sohappy:

weve gone a couple of times in january and its usually really nice(70s & 80s). i think mgm and magic kingdom close earlier to(7pm instead of 9pm). also the crowd towards the end of january seems to be less than usual. have fun!

We always go for a couple weeks in January. Let me just tell you that New Year's Eve was freeeeezing. I had gloves and a scarf on. As the days went by it gradually got warmer but I definitely would recommend bringing a heavy jacket.

The crowds in early to mid-January, last year anyway, were lighter than summertime, but were still on the heavy side, especially at the Magic Kingdom. Of course, I would imagine all bets are off for this year with the downturn in tourism.

heh, I went to new year's at MK for 2001. Darn, some building there with a movie playing(an old old one), which had Cpu games(disney ones of course) and fake cars. It looked like a stinkin hurricane shelter. We slept till 11:30, when we got our spots. Me and my cousin(around 9:00 pm) sat on a bench and said "save the rain forest". it was VERY funny. Some people were like "smoke my _____" wow. Those type of people at disney world! LOL
