Hello, I am heading over to Disneyworld with my girlfriend from the 1st-15th of December staying at Wilderness Lodge. We've booked Mickey's very merry christmas party for the 9th of December.

From what i read the crowds are pretty good which usually translates to not much wait times, is this correct with crowd numbers and wait times being low??

The last time we visited in December (2010) there were low crowds and short wait times for most attractions. Soarin always has a long wait time. The crowds got much larger over the weekend however so do the Osborne lights etc during the week.

This is our preferred time to visit WDW. We stay away from MK on the week-ends as it tends to be more crowded. The other 3 parks do not see the vast increase in crowds on the week-ends. The WL is beautifully decked out at this time of year - try to become a flag raising family at the Lodge -- you get to go to the roof-top.

My wife and I went last Dec 12-18, and it was way crowded. Apparently they had cheerleading competition, and some kind of pop warner football at the same time. Never again

I was there at the same time and didn't think the crowds were bad at all. In fact, we didn't even really need to use our Fastpass+

^My apologies, I should be more clear. I didn't wait too long for rides, 25 mins tops. The parks were very crowded though, and as a claustrophobic, I would never go while those events were happening.

Yes. The only caveat I would mention is that we went to the MK on one of the few days during our mid-December visit when there was NOT a MVMCP that night so that we could stay late to see the parade and fireworks that night. (We did not buy the hard ticket to the party.) Many others obviously had the same thought because the MK was super-crowded that day. That said, we got there at rope drop and did so many attractions in the first 2 hours that the crowds did not matter to us later in the day.

We went in early December 2012 and loved it. We're going a week earlier this year, and we're all looking forward to the Christmas decorations and MVMCP again!
