WDW in april

we're planning a trip for next April. normally sego down in the fall, sometimes Xmas. how is it down there in April as far as weather, crowds?

March and April are my second-favorite months to visit WDW (next to October-November). The weather is usually great, and the crowds are decently-sized. At least that's been my experience.

I've been in March and April and the weather is great. The crowds can be heavy depending on what week in April you pick. Last year the first week of April was very busy, like being there in the middle of the summer. I think the week before and week after Easter are always busy.

Avoid April 13-27 unless you REALLY like crowds. Easter is April 20th and the week prior to and following will be very busy. We went a couple years ago and Soarin and Test Track had 3 hour waits (yes, 3 hour!) and MK was closed due to capacity. Never again!

Early April, the first two weeks, are Spring Break around the south.

I always prefer one of the last 2 weeks of March. Weather is usually beautiful and the crowds aren't too bad. The closer you get to Easter and Spring break though, the worse the crowds get.
