Im going to do a futer time-line WDW improvement plan like someone else did for universal.
This is for the MK:
2003: Phillarmagic opens
2004: Alien Encounter goes down for rehab ( no, not to add Stitch ) to give everything a fresh look, and have some new surprises in the main show. SIR will have 5 different spiels and the main show will have 4 different things happening. Like maybe on one show, the hand might come down from the cieling, etc. A safty video will also be shown to prevent guests from breaking the chairs.
Buzz Lightyear shop opens in tomorrowland
Speedway closes down for a BIG rehab
2005:
Speedway re-opens as "Cosmic Freeway" ( Figment Dream's Idea ). It includes an updated qeue with futeristic looking cars, longer and more themed roads with roadside things like bill boards and hitch hiking droids and that sort of thing.
Timekeeper: Reopens, and stays open.
Buzz goes down for a somewhat big rehab. Better AAs are added ( instead of flat cardboard creatures ), the viecles are not omnimovers any more, but seperate viecles.
Big Thunder goes down for a rehab. New trains are added with better looking engines and dirtier, worn looking trains. On-board wild western music is added also.
Jungle Cruise goes down for a big rehab to add more realistic looking animals and more dirty old and worn boats similar to DL's.
2006: POTC goes down for a BIG rehab to have a more extended ride so its more like DL's version.
Big Thunder reopens.
Buzz reopens
CoP closes and moves to epcot.
A new show is added to the galaxy palace theater
Space Mountian closes for rehab. The rehab includes: Repainting the exterior to have Aquagreen and gold colors, qeue rehab, new preshow, loading station rehab, and lift rehab.
Jungle Cruise reopens
Construction starts on the Blue Lagoon sit-down resteraunt in AL next to POTC. Its sort of like the Blue Bayou in DL, with the indoor-out door effect like the Mexican pavillion in EPCOT with the Potc boats going through the lagoon at the beginning of the ride.
2007: POTC and Blue Lagoon resturaunt open
Fantaseyland closes for a MAJOR rehab. Mostly to replace the circus tent look with the more fairy tale viilage look. A Pinoccio dark ride is added to the old Skyway station. I'll provide more details later.
Space Mountain reopens.
The top of the Old Tomorrowland skyway station is made into an Observatron sort of thing like in DL.
2008: Fantaseyland reopens. The tent style architecture is gone, Pooh's exterior is made to look like a giant story book, and the ride inside is made to be sort of like Tokyo's version, all of the other dark rides get rehabs with better qeue lines, the enterance to IASW, is moved to the lagoon with a big facade like DL's, but from there, you go into the regular building with more updated scenes and sountracks, the old IASW loading area is where the village hause is moved because the IASW facade takes up so much space, and a new pinoccio ride is in the old Sky way loading area.
Mickey's Toon Town fair goes down for a rehab. More details later.
Haunted Mansion goes down for a short rehab.
2009: Mickey's Toon Town Fair reopens as Mickey's Toon Town. Mickey's house is made bigger so you can walk around his home, and nothing is roped off. Meet Mickey is in Mickey's Movie barn. Goofy's Barnstormer is changed to Gyro Gearloose's Gizmatic Coaster, a small play area is added, Donald's Boat is more detailed and real water is surrounding the boat, Goofy's House and Bounce Living room is added, The Judges Tent is demolished and Down Town Toon Town like in DL is added, with Roger Rabbit's Car-Toon Adventure.
